Claims (5)
- 光源部と、
前記光源部の前面に位置し、透過軸が互いに平行に配置された2枚以上の基準偏光板及び前記基準偏光板との間に位置し、透過軸が前記基準偏光板の透過軸と直交するように配置される被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板から成る検査部と、
前記検査部を撮影して画像データを収集する撮影部と、
前記撮影部で収集した画像データを画像分析し被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板の良否を判断する演算部を含み、
前記画像分析は、収集した画像データから前記被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板の幅方向に沿って一定間隔で明暗に関するデータを抽出する段階と、
前記明暗を数値化したデータ(raw data)を得る段階と、
前記明暗を数値化したデータから基準曲線を算出する段階と、
前記基準曲線に対する前記明暗を数値化したデータの標準偏差を求める段階を含み、
前記基準曲線を算出する段階は、数1を用いて行われる
ことを特徴とする偏光板のムラ自動検査システム。
- 前記撮影部は、CCDカメラから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の偏光板のムラ自動検査システム。
- 前記システムは、前記演算部で計算された標準偏差の値または被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板の良否を表すディスプレイ部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の偏光板のムラ自動検査システム。
- 前記システムは、偏光板の製造ラインに設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の偏光板のムラ自動検査システム。
- 2枚以上の基準偏光板及び前記基準偏光板との間に位置する被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板を含む検査部に光を照射する段階と、
前記検査部を撮影して得た画像データを演算部に伝送する段階と、
前記伝送された画像データから被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板の幅方向(Transverse Direction、TD)に沿って一定間隔で明暗に関するデータを抽出し、これを数値化したデータを得る段階と、
前記数値化したデータ(raw data)から基準曲線を算出する段階と、
前記基準曲線に対する前記数値化したデータの標準偏差を求める段階と、
前記標準偏差を既設定の基準値と比較して被検査偏光フィルムまたは被検査偏光板の良否を判断する段階を含み、
前記基準曲線を算出する段階は、数1を用いて行われる
