Description
−第1波長範囲の光を発する光源と、
−前記光源により発される前記光の少なくとも一部を受ける受光表面、前表面、後表面を有する導光体であって、前記前表面及び前記後表面において全内部反射により前記第1波長範囲の光をガイドするための導光体と、
−前記導光体からの光をアウトカップリングする複数のアウトカップリング要素であって、これにより、当該アウトカップリング要素によってアウトカップリングされる前記光の少なくとも一部が前記後表面を通じて前記導光体を出るようにされる、アウトカップリング要素と、
−前記導光体からアウトカップリングされる光を反射するように前記導光体の後方に構成される反射部材と、
−前記第1波長範囲の光を第2波長範囲の光へ変換するために前記導光体の外側に構成される波長変換材料を含む波長変換部材と、
を含む発光装置に関する。
本発明の実施例に従う波長変換及び反射部分を検査するために、透明樹脂に埋め込まれるCeドープイットリウムアルミニウムガーネット(Ce:YAGとも称される)蛍光体材料のドットの異なる群は、白色の拡散体(MCPET、Furukawa Electric)にそれぞれ配置された。ドットは、微細な規則的な長方形パターンで配置された。ドットにおけるCe:YAG材料の推定濃度は、20%であった。ドットの群は、25%、44%、及び100%のそれぞれの蛍光体被覆率を呈した。ドットの群、及び何の蛍光体ドットもない拡散体(0%の蛍光体被覆率を呈する)は、460nmの波長の光を発するLEDからの光を用いて直角に照らされた。生じる色は、青色(0%被覆率)から黄色(100%被覆率)までの変化を有した。それぞれの群から発する光の色座標が測定された。結果は図5に示され、この場合、鎖線は黒体曲線を表す。この図から、白色光を生じる蛍光体被覆パーセンテージを発見することが可能であることが結論付けられ得る。例えば、補間により、約65%の蛍光体被覆率は6500Kの色温度を有する光を生じさせ得ることが確認され得る。波長変換材料の組成を変更することによって、いかなる望まれる色温度の光も達成され得る。
Claims (12)
- 発光装置であり、
−第1波長範囲の光を発する光源と、
−前記光源により発される前記光の少なくとも一部を受ける受光表面、前表面、後表面を有する導光体であって、前記前表面及び前記後表面において全内部反射により前記第1波長範囲の光をガイドするための導光体と、
−前記導光体からの光をアウトカップリングする複数のアウトカップリング要素であって、これにより、当該アウトカップリング要素によってアウトカップリングされる前記光の少なくとも一部が前記後表面を通じて前記導光体を出るようにされる、アウトカップリング要素と、
−前記導光体の後方に構成され、前記導光体からアウトカップリングされる光を反射する反射部材と、
−前記第1波長範囲の光を第2波長範囲の光へ変換するために前記導光体の外側に構成される波長変換材料を含む波長変換部材と、
を含む発光装置であって、
前記波長変換部材は、波長変換材料を含む複数の個別区域を含み、前記発光装置から発される光の色温度が、前記波長変換材料の相対的被覆率を適合させることによって、調節されている発光装置。 - 請求項1に記載の発光装置であって、前記反射部材は拡散的である、発光装置。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置であって、前記波長変換部材及び前記反射部材は、前記導光体の異なる側部に設けられる、発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置であって、前記波長変換部材は、前記導光体の前方に設けられる、発光装置。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置であって、前記波長変換部材は、前記導光体から前記反射部材への光の経路に構成される、発光装置。
- 請求項5に記載の発光装置であって、前記波長変換材料は、前記反射部材に構成される、発光装置。
- 請求項5又は6に記載の発光装置であって、前記波長変換部材は、波長変換材料を含む連続層を含む、発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置であって、前記複数のアウトカップリング要素は、前記導光体の外側表面に設けられる、発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置であって、前記複数のアウトカップリング要素は、前記導光体の前記前表面に設けられる、発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置であって、前記アウトカップリング要素は、散乱材料を含む、発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置であって、前記アウトカップリング要素による前記前表面の被覆率は、前記導光体に沿って前記受光表面からの距離に伴い増加する、発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置であって、前記光源は、少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを含む、発光装置。
