Description
Claims (6)
- バタフライバルブにおいて使用するためのシールであって、
第1リング状部位と、第1開口と第2開口を定めるように前記第1リング状部位と連結された第2リング状部位とを有するカートリッジと、
前記第1開口に保持されたリング状のシールと、
前記カートリッジを前記バタフライバルブと連結するために前記第2開口に保持されたリング状可撓キャリアと、
を備えている、シール。 - 前記第2リング状部位が、ラジアル溝を含んでおり、前記第1リング状部位が、前記ラジアル溝に係合するためのアキシャル突起を含んでいる、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記アキシャル突起が、前記第1リング状部位と前記第2リング状部位の少なくとも一部分が融合した溶接部によって前記ラジアル溝の表面と溶接されている、請求項2に記載のシール。
- 前記溶接部が前記第2リング状部位の前記ラジアル溝の表面と反対側の表面から前記第2リング状部位を貫いて前記アキシャル突起まで延びている、請求項3に記載のシール。
- 前記第1開口が内向きに開放したリング状の開口であり、
前記ラジアル溝の内側の壁が、前記第1開口の外径に実質的に揃っている、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載のシール。 - 前記第1開口が、前記第1リング状部位によって定められる第1ラジアル表面および第1アキシャル表面と、前記第2リング状部位によって定められる第2ラジアル表面とを含んでおり、前記第1ラジアル表面と前記第2ラジアル表面が実質的に非平行である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のシール。
