Description
本明細書で使用する「フレグランス組成物」という用語は、1種または複数のフレグランス成分(いかなる形態のものであってもよい)、および1種または複数の溶媒または香料原料を含む混合物を指している。当業者には公知のように、フレグランス組成物には、1種または複数のフレグランス成分(たとえば、香料原料)が含まれていて、それが添加された組成物(たとえば、家庭用洗剤、パヒューム、またはその他の市販の商品)に香気を与えるようになっている。一つの具体例としては、そのフレグランス組成物には、2種以上のフレグランス成分が含まれていて、それらがまとまって、また加えられた溶媒と組み合わさり、意図された香気、例えば快適な「トロピカル」ノートを与える。
チグリン酸エチル(10g)(コネチカット州ダンベリー(Danbury、CT)のベドウキアン・リサーチ・インコーポレーテッド(BedoukianResearch Inc.)製)とチオ酢酸(5.9g)とを、150℃で3日間加熱還流させた。未転換の出発物質を蒸留した(7T、35℃)。蒸留されなかった、粘度の高い赤色の油状物を、カラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘキサン中2%酢酸エチル)にかけ、溶媒を濃縮すると、透明な油状物(6.4g、40%)が立体異性体の混合物として得られた。
オドア(DPG中1000ppm):調理したタマネギ、トロピカルフルーツ。
GC/MS(EI):m/z(%)204(4)、161(78)、129(19)、115(30)、102(24)、56(32)、43(100)。
1HNMR(CDCl3):δ 4.08〜4.17(m,2H)、3.84〜3.93(m,1H)、2.59〜2.76(m,1H)、2.30(s,3H)、1.17〜1.33(m,9H))。
13CNMR(CDCl3):δ 194.9、174.0、60.6、44.8、30.7、19.4、18.5、14.6、14.2。
カラムクロマトグラフィーにかける前の参考例1の粗製物(約9g)を、10mLのエタノールおよび数滴の10MのHCl(エタノール中)と共に12時間加熱還流させた。蒸留(8.5T、75℃)によって、遊離のチオールが、透明な油状物(3.7g、52%)として、そして立体異性体の混合物として得られた。
オドア(DPG中1ppm):グアバ、マンゴー、エキゾチックフルーティノート、ジューシー、スイート、トロピカル、および熟れた臭い。
GC/MS(EI):m/z(%)162(34)、134(2)、129(34)、89(52)、74(77)、56(100)。
1HNMR(CDCl3);δ 4.08〜4.17(m,2H)、3.14〜3.31(m,1H)、2.46〜2.58(m,1H)、1.67and 1.50(2d,J=7.79Hz,ジアステレオマーの1H混合)、1.17〜1.35(m,9H)。
13CNMR(CDCl3)(ジアステレオマー混合物):δ 174.6、60.9、60.6、48.8、47.7、37.8、23.6、21.9、14.3、13.5。
反応条件は参考例1と同様であったが、ただし出発成分としてチグリン酸メチル(ミズーリ州セントルイス(St.Loiuis,Missouri)のシグマ・アルドリッチ(SigmaAldrich)製)を使用した。
収率:35%。
オドア(DPG中100ppm):フルーティ、硫黄臭、グリーン、脂肪、タマネギ。
GC/MS(EI):m/z(%)190(4)、160(1)、147(60)、115(31)、88(36)、83(12)、73(2)、59(36)、56(21)、43(100)。
1HNMR(CDCl3):δ 3.83〜3.93(m,1H)、3.67(異性体の2s混合,3H)、2.62〜2.78(m,1H)、2.29(s,3H)、1.26〜1.32(異性体の2d混合,J=6.83Hz,3H)、1.16〜1.20(異性体の2d混合,J=7.33Hz,3H)。
13CNMR(CDCl3):δ 194.9、174.5、52.0、44.7、41.7、30.7、19.3、14.6。
反応条件は参考例2と同様であったが、ただし出発成分として参考例3の反応生成物を、溶媒としてメタノールを使用した。
収率:44%。
オドア(DPG中1ppm):タマネギ、グリーン野菜、桃、トロピカルフルーツ、金属臭。
GC/MS(EI):m/z(%)148(46)、115(25)、88(100)、61(64)、59(100)。
1HNMR(CDCl3):δ 3.69(異性体のs混合,3H)、3.13〜3.30(m,1H)、2.48〜2.58(m,1H)、1.66and 1.51(2d,J=7.34Hz,ジアステレオマーの1H混合)、1.31〜1.34(異性体の2d混合,J=6.87Hz,3H)、1.18〜1.27(異性体の2d混合,J=6.87Hz,3H)。
13CNMR(CDCl3)(ジアステレオマー混合物):δ 175.0、51.9、51.6、48.7、47.6、37.7、37.1、23.5、21.9、14.3、13.5。
反応条件は参考例1と同様であったが、ただし出発成分としてチグリン酸イソプロピル(ミズーリ州セントルイス(St.Loiuis,Missouri)のシグマ・アルドリッチ(SigmaAldrich)製)を使用した。
収率:65%。
オドア(DPG中100ppm):過熟フルーツ、グリーン、脂肪、オレンジ、スパークリング。
GC/MS(EI):m/z(%)218(5)、175(98)、133(32)、83(31)、56(49)、43(100)。
1HNMR(CDCl3):δ 4.96〜5.04(m,1H)、3.84〜3.89(m,1H)、2.56〜2.70(m,1H)、2.30(s,3H)、1.28〜1.33(異性体の2d混合,J=6.87Hz,3H)、1.16〜1.25(m,9H))。

反応条件は参考例2と同様であったが、ただし出発成分として参考例5の反応生成物を、溶媒としてイソプロピルアルコールを使用した。
収率:37%。
オドア(DPG中1ppm):エキゾチックフルーツ、スイート、硫黄臭、脂肪、フローラル、かすかにバラ様。
GC/MS(EI):m/z(%)176(48)、143(14)、134(72)、117(51)、89(91)、61(93)、56(100)。

グアバ、フルーティノートを有する下記のフレグランス組成物を調製した。合計して1000部の量を基準にしている。

以下に示す成分から、チュウイーキャンディを調製することができる。
以下に示す成分から、プレストキャンディを調製することができる。
以下に示す成分から、ハードキャンディを調製することができる。
以下に示す成分から、ストローベリーライムフレーバーを有するフレーバー化チューインガムを調製することができる。
Claims (13)
- 前記化合物が、3−メルカプト−2−メチルブタン酸エチル、3−メルカプト−2−メチルブタン酸メチル、3−アセチルチオ−2−メチルブタン酸メチル、および3−アセチルチオ−2−メチルブタン酸エチルからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記化合物が、3−メルカプト−2−メチルブタン酸エチルである、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- ジプロピレングリコール、フタル酸ジエチル、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、安息香酸ベンジル、2−(2−エトキシエトキシ)−1−エタノール、クエン酸エチル、エタノール、水/エタノール混合物、リモネン、テルペン、イソパラフィン、グリコールエーテル、グリコールエーテルエステル、またはそれらの組合せからなる群より選択される溶媒をさらに含み、そして前記組成物が、フレグランス組成物である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- プロピレングリコール、トリアセチン、クエン酸トリエチル、ベンジルアルコール、安息香酸ベンジル、エタノール、植物油、およびテルペンからなる群より選択される溶媒をさらに含み、そして前記組成物が、フレーバー組成物である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物を含む、消費者製品。
- ロウソク、エアケア製品、パヒューム、コロン、セッケン、パーソナルケア製品、洗剤、ファブリックケア製品、および家庭用クリーニング製品からなる群より選択される、請求項6に記載の消費者製品。
- エアケア製品、パヒューム、およびコロンからなる群より選択される、請求項6に記載の消費者製品。
- 飲料、飲料のための粉体または半冷凍/冷凍濃縮物、キャンディ、シュガーレスキャンディ、チョコレート、チューインガム、風船ガム、香辛料、スパイス、シーズニング、ドライシリアル、オートミール、グラノーラクッキー、アルコール系飲料、エネルギー飲料、ジュース、茶飲料、コーヒー、サルサソース、ゲルビーズ、口臭のためのフィルム片、薬用ドロップ、咳止めドロップ、喉用薬用ドロップ、喉用スプレー、練り歯磨き、および口洗液からなる群より選択される、請求項6に記載の消費者製品。
- 飲料、チューインガム、および風船ガムからなる群より選択される、請求項9に記載の消費者製品。
- 前記化合物が、3−メルカプト−2−メチルブタン酸エチル、3−メルカプト−2−メチルブタン酸メチル、3−アセチルチオ−2−メチルブタン酸メチル、および3−アセチルチオ−2−メチルブタン酸エチルからなる群より選択される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記化合物が、3−メルカプト−2−メチルブタン酸エチルである、請求項11に記載の方法。
