Claims (26)
- 電子外科手術電流を異なるキャリア周波数かつ異なる電子外科手術モードで選択的に提供して、電子外科手術ハンドピースを動作させる電子外科手術機器において、
3つの異なるキャリア周波数を生成するRFパワー発生回路を備え、
前記RFパワー発生回路は、第1変調波形、第2変調波形、第3変調波形および第4変調波形を生成するように構成されている変調回路を含み、
それぞれの前記変調波形は、前記その他の変調波形から異なる電子外科手術モードを提供し、
前記電子外科手術機器は、それぞれのキャリア周波数に対して異なる変調波形のうちいずれかの波形を示す信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースへ選択的に出力するように構成されており、
キャリア周波数および変調波形のいかなる組み合わせは、モノポーラおよびバイポーラ電子外科手術ハンドピースのいずれかのコネクタに選択的に出力可能であることを特徴とする電子外科手術機器。 - 前記コンソールに接続され、前記RFパワー発生回路のON/OFF機能を有するフットスイッチを、更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記第1周波数は、約3.8〜4.0MHzレンジであり、前記第2周波数は約1.7〜2.0MHzレンジであり、前記第3周波数は、約400〜600kHzレンジであることを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記第1周波数は、約4.0MHzであり、前記第2周波数は、約1.7MHzであり、前記第3周波数は、約500kHzであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記モノポーラハンドピースは、前記RFパワー発生回路をON/OFF制御する3個の指スイッチを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記機器コンソールは、前記キャリア周波数を選択する第1スイッチ部、前記モードを選択する第2スイッチ部、及び選択された電子外科手術電流を前記第1又は第2電気コネクタのいずれに供給するかを制御する第3スイッチ部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記第1電気コネクタに接続されたモノポーラハンドピース、前記第2電気コネクタに接続されたバイポーラハンドピース、及び前記コンソールに接続されるフットスイッチを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記変調回路はCUT(カッティング)の電子外科手術モードをなす前記第1変調波形を生成するように構成され、前記第1変調波形の信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースに出力するよう選択的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記変調回路はCOAG(血液凝固)の電子外科手術モードをなす前記第2の変調波形を生成するように構成され、前記第2変調波形の信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースに出力するよう選択的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記変調回路はCUT/COAG(カッティング及び血液凝固)の混合の電子外科手術モードをなす前記第1の変調波形を生成するように構成され、前記第3変調波形の信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースに出力するよう選択的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記変調回路はCUT/COAG(カッティング及び血液凝固)の混合の電子外科手術モードをなす前記第2の変調波形を生成するように構成され、前記第3変調波形の信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースに出力するよう選択的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記変調回路はFULGURATE(火花放電による組織破壊)の電子外科手術モードをなす前記第2の変調波形を生成するように構成され、前記第4変調波形の信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースに出力するよう選択的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 前記変調回路はFULGURATE(火花放電による組織破壊)の電子外科手術モードをなす前記第2の変調波形を生成するように構成され、前記第4変調波形の信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースに出力するよう選択的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- モノポーラハンドピースを使用するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- モノポーラハンドピースを使用するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 第1周波数は約3.8〜4.0MHzの範囲にあり、第2周波数は約1.7〜2.0MHzの範囲にあり、第3周波数は約400〜600MHzの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項11記載の電子外科手術機器。
- 第1周波数は約3.8〜4.0MHzの範囲にあり、第2周波数は約1.7〜2.0MHzの範囲にあり、第3周波数は約400〜600MHzの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項15記載の電子外科手術機器。

- 電子外科手術電流を異なるキャリア周波数かつ異なる電子外科手術モードで選択的に提供して、異なる3つのキャリア周波数を発生させるように構成された電子外科手術RFパワー発生回路を動作させる電子外科手術機器において、
変調回路はそれぞれのキャリア周波数に関して4つの異なる変調波形を生成するように構成され、
それぞれの変調波形は、(1)CUT(カッティング)、(2)COAG(血液凝固)、(3)CUT/COAG(カッティング及び血液凝固)の混合および(4)FULGURATE(火花放電による組織破壊)というグループから選択される異なる電子外科手術モードを提供し、
前記電子外科手術機器は、それぞれのキャリア周波数に対して異なる変調波形のうちいずれかの波形を示す信号を前記電子外科手術ハンドピースへ選択的に出力するように構成されており、
キャリア周波数および変調波形のいかなる組み合わせは、モノポーラおよびバイポーラ電子外科手術ハンドピースのいずれかのコネクタに選択的に出力可能であることを特徴とする電子外科手術機器。 - モノポーラハンドピースを使用するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- バイポーラハンドピースを使用するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の電子外科手術機器。
- RFパワー発生回路は、(i)約3.8〜4.0MHzの範囲にある第1周波数、(ii)約400〜600MHzの範囲あるいは約1.7〜2.0MHzの範囲にある第2周波数を生成するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項23記載の電子外科手術機器。
- RFパワー発生回路は、約1.7〜2.0MHzの範囲にある第2周波数、約400〜600MHzの範囲にある周波数を生成するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項24記載の電子外科手術機器。
