− 各サブピクセルと関連付けられているアドレス回路であって、少なくとも1つの選択入力と、サブピクセルのパワー供給時間の制御入力とパワー供給条件の選択入力とを備えるアドレス回路と、

− 可変の色度座標と発光とを有し、且つ、同一である複数の有機発光ダイオード(3)からなるマトリックスであって、前記複数の有機発光ダイオード(3)の発光スぺクトルが、前記有機発光ダイオード(3)に供給される電圧(V)又は電流(I)の供給条件に応じて変化するような、マトリックスと、
− 複数のカラーフィルタ(4)であって、前記各カラーフィルタ(4)は前記複数の有機発光ダイオード(3)のうちの1つと関連付けられて1つのカラーサブピクセル(2)を形成している、複数のカラーフィルタ(4)と、
− 複数のアドレス回路であって、前記各アドレス回路は、前記各カラーサブピクセル(2)とそれぞれ接続され、且つ、供給時間制御入力端子と、供給条件制御入力端子と、前記有機発光ダイオードを選択するための制御入力端子とを有し、前記電流又は前記電圧の供給時間を制御する制御信号が前記供給時間制御入力端子に供給され、前記電流又は前記電圧の前記供給条件を制御する制御信号が前記供給条件制御入力端子に供給され、前記有機発光ダイオードを選択するための制御信号が前記有機発光ダイオードを選択するための制御入力端子に入力される、複数のアドレス回路と、
− 前記各カラーサブピクセル(2)にそれぞれ対応する複数の供給条件制御ライン(DL)と、
− 前記各カラーサブピクセル(2)にそれぞれ対応する複数の選択ライン(SL)と、
− 表示装置制御回路と、
を備え、
前記表示装置制御回路は、
− 前記発光スぺクトルが関連付けられた前記カラーフィルタ(4)の通過スぺクトルと近くなるように前記発光スぺクトルを調節し、且つ、前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の瞬時の発光を調整するために、前記各カラーサブピクセル(2)に特有の前記各供給条件制御ライン(DL)によって、前記各アドレス回路の前記供給条件制御入力端子と接続され、
− 第1の期間(Δt)における前記有機発光ダイオード(3)の平均発光を調節するために、リセットライン(RLG、RLB、RLR)によって前記各アドレス回路の前記供給時間制御入力端子と接続され、前記リセットライン(RLG、RLB、RLR)は、同じ色の複数の前記カラーサブピクセル(2)に共通であり、
− 前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の前記有機発光ダイオード(3)に対して供給するか否かを決定するために、前記各カラーサブピクセル(2)に特有の前記各選択ライン(SL)によって、前記各アドレス回路の、前記有機発光ダイオードを選択するための制御入力端子に接続されている、
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の色に特有の前記リセットライン(RLG、RLB、RLR)は、前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の前記色に対応する前記複数の有機発光ダイオード(3)の複数のカソードに接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の色に特有の前記リセットライン(RLG、RLB、RLR)は、前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の前記色に対応する前記複数の有機発光ダイオード(3)の1つのアノードによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 第1のトランジスタ(T1)は、前記供給条件制御ライン(DL)と第2のトランジスタ(T2)の制御電極との間に接続され、前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の前記有機発光ダイオード(3)は、供給電圧(Vdd)と所定の電位(Vcathode)との間に前記第2のトランジスタ(T2)と直列に接続され、キャパシタ(C)と第3のトランジスタ(T3)とは、前記供給電圧(Vdd)とグランドとの間に直列に接続され、前記キャパシタ(C)と前記第3のトランジスタ(T3)とは、前記第2のトランジスタ(T2)の前記制御電極と前記第1のトランジスタ(T1)とに接続された共通端子を有し、前記リセットライン(RL)は前記第3のトランジスタ(T3)の制御電極に接続され、前記第1のトランジスタ(T1)の制御電極は前記選択ライン(SL)と接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 第1のトランジスタ(T1)は、前記供給条件制御ライン(DL)と第2のトランジスタ(T2)の制御電極との間に接続され、前記カラーサブピクセル(2)の前記有機発光ダイオード(3)は、供給電圧(Vdd)と所定の電位(Vcathode)との間に前記第2のトランジスタ(T2)と第3のトランジスタ(T3)と直列に接続され、キャパシタ(C)は、前記供給電圧(Vdd)又はグランドと前記第2のトランジスタ(T2)の前記制御電極との間に接続され、前記リセットライン(RL)は前記第3のトランジスタ(T3)の制御電極に接続され、前記第1のトランジスタ(T1)の制御電極は前記選択ライン(SL)と接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記有機発光ダイオード(3)の構造は、アノード/青色発光サブレイヤ/緑色発光サブレイヤ/赤色発光サブレイヤ/カソードであることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の表示装置。
- 赤色の前記カラーサブピクセルには、緑色の前記カラーサブピクセルよりも弱い電流(IR)が供給され、前記緑色のカラーサブピクセルには、青色の前記カラーサブピクセルよりも弱い電流(IG)が供給されることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の表示装置。
- 前記有機発光ダイオード(3)の構造は、アノード/青色発光サブレイヤ/赤色発光サブレイヤ/緑色発光サブレイヤ/カソードであることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の表示装置。
