Description
Claims (14)
- 送信されたシンボルを回復する復調器、
前記回復されたシンボルを非2進LDPC符号化信号に変換するグレイ符号デマッパ、
前記非2進LDPC符号化信号から誤り訂正されたインターリーブされたシンボルを回復する非2進LDPCデコーダ、
前記誤り訂正されたインターリーブされたシンボルをインターリーブされる前の順序に戻すデインターリーバ、及び
前記デインターリーブされたシンボルから誤り訂正されたデータを回復する非グレイ符号デマップド・トレリス符号復調器、
を有する受信装置。 - 前記非2進LDPCデコーダは、4ary LDPC、8ary LDPC、16ary LDPC、64ary LDPC、128ary LDPC及び256ary LDPCデコーダのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - 前記トレリス符号化復調器のシンボル・コンステレーションは、4−QAM、8−QAM、16−QAM、64−QAM、128−QAM及び256−QAMのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - 前記非2進LDPCデコーダの出力は、軟判定に基づく、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - キャリア信号を復調して送信されたシンボルを回復する段階、
グレイ符号デマッピングを用いて、前記復調されたシンボルを非2進LDPC符号化信号に変換する段階、
前記非2進LDPC符号化信号を復号化して、誤り訂正されたインターリーブされたトレリス符号化シンボルを回復する段階、
前記誤り訂正されたインターリーブされたトレリス符号化シンボルをインターリーブ前の順序にデインターリーブする段階、
非グレイ符号デマッピングを用いて、前記デインターリーブされたトレリス符号化シンボルを復調する段階、及び
誤り訂正されたデータを決定する段階、
を有する受信機の方法。 - 前記デインターリーブされたトレリス符号化シンボルを復調する段階は、4−QAM、8−QAM、16−QAM、64−QAM、128−QAM及び256−QAMシンボル・コンステレーションを有するグループのうちの1つを復調する段階を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の受信機の方法。 - 前記非2進LDPC符号化信号を復号化して、誤り訂正されたインターリーブされたトレリス符号化シンボルを回復する段階における前記非2進LDPC符号化信号は、4ary LDPC、8ary LDPC、16ary LDPC、64ary LDPC、128ary LDPC及び256ary LDPC非2進符号化信号を有するグループのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の受信機の方法。 - 前記非2進LDPC符号化信号を復号化して、誤り訂正されたインターリーブされたトレリス符号化シンボルを回復する段階は、軟判定に基づく、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の受信機の方法。 - 送信対象のデータを供給するデータ・ソース、
前記データを非グレイ符号にマッピングされたトレリス符号化シンボルにマッピング及びトレリス符号化するトレリス符号化変調器、
前記非グレイ符号にマッピングされたトレリス符号化シンボルを時間で再順序付けするシンボル・インターリーバ、
前記インターリーブされたシンボルを符号化する非2進LDPCエンコーダ、
前記LDPC符号化シンボルを送信コンステレーションにマッピングするグレイ符号コンステレーション・マッパ、及び
送信チャネルに信号を適用する変調器、
を有する送信装置。 - 前記トレリス符号化変調器のシンボル・コンステレーションは、4−QAM、8−QAM、16−QAM、64−QAM、128−QAM及び256−QAMシンボル・コンステレーションを有するグループのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の送信装置。 - 前記非2進LDPCエンコーダは、4ary LDPC、8ary LDPC、16ary LDPC、64ary LDPC、128ary LDPC及び256ary LDPC非2進エンコーダを有するグループのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の送信装置。 - 非グレイ符号化シンボル・マッピングを用いてデータを符号化し、トレリス符号化変調シンボルを形成する段階、
前記トレリス符号化変調シンボルをインターリービングし、該シンボルを時間で再順序付けする段階、
非2進LDPCエンコーダを用いて、前記インターリーブされたトレリス符号化変調シンボルを符号化する段階、及び
グレイ符号コンステレーション・マップを用いて、前記非2進LDPCエンコーダの出力を送信コンステレーションにマッピングする段階、
を有する送信機の方法。 - 前記トレリス符号化変調のシンボル・コンステレーションは、4−QAM、8−QAM、16−QAM、64−QAM、128−QAM及び256−QAMシンボル・コンステレーションを有するグループのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の送信機の方法。 - 前記非2進LDPCエンコーダは、4ary LDPC、8ary LDPC、16ary LDPC、64ary LDPC、128ary LDPC及び256ary LDPC非2進エンコーダを有するグループのうちの1つである、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の送信機の方法。
