Claims (20)
- 装置の状態を表す出力を発生することができる少なくとも1つの装置コンポーネントと、
装置へのタッチを感知しそしてその感知されたタッチに関連したタッチ信号を出力することができるタッチ感知コンポーネントと、
プロセッサであって、
前記装置コンポーネントの出力又は前記タッチ感知コンポーネントの出力の少なくとも1つに基づいて装置の接地状態を決定し、及び
装置が不充分に接地されたと決定された場合に前記タッチ信号を補償する機能を適用する、
ことができるプロセッサと、
を備えたタッチ感知装置。 - 前記装置コンポーネントは、装置へのコンポーネント接続を感知することができるコネクタセンサ、装置への抵抗器接続を検出することができる抵抗器検出器、装置の動き又は方向の少なくとも1つを感知することができる動きセンサ、装置に接近する表面を感知することができる接近センサ、装置の周囲に接触する物体を感知することができる周囲センサ、装置に接近する物体のプロパティを感知することができるプロパティセンサ、又はどんな形式のアプリケーションを装置が実行するか指示することができるアプリケーションインジケータ、の少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記コンポーネント接続、抵抗器接続、装置の動き、装置の方向、接近する表面、周囲接触、又は実行されるアプリケーションの少なくとも1つに基づいて装置の接地状態を決定することができる、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記タッチ感知コンポーネントは、前記タッチ信号に基づいて装置にタッチする物体の部分を決定することができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、物体の前記決定されたタッチ部分に基づいて装置の接地状態を決定することができる、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記機能は、装置の接地が不充分であるとき前記タッチ信号に導入されるエラーを減少する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、装置が充分に接地された場合には前記機能を適用しないことができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 移動電話、デジタルメディアプレーヤ、又はパーソナルコンピュータの少なくとも1つに合体される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- タッチ感知装置へのタッチを表すタッチ信号を取り込む段階と、
装置の状態に関連した少なくとも1つのパラメータ値を与える段階と、
前記与えられたパラメータ値に基づいて装置の接地状態を決定する段階と、
前記接地の決定に基づいて前記タッチ信号への調整の量を決定する段階と、
を備えた方法。 - パラメータ値を与える前記段階は、装置が壁コンセントに差し込まれたかどうか、装置が接地された装置に結合されたかどうか、又は装置がユーザに物理的に接触するかどうかの少なくとも1つに対応する情報を与えることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 接地状態を決定する前記段階は、パラメータ値が装置の接地状態を表すかどうか決定することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 調整の量を決定する前記段階は、装置が接地された場合に調整が不要であると決定することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 調整の量を決定する前記段階は、装置が接地される程度を決定し、そして非接地装置に対する調整量をその決定された程度に比例してスケーリングすることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記決定された量を使用して前記取り込まれたタッチ信号を調整する段階を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の入力コンポーネントと、
装置へのタッチ事象を表すタッチ値を出力するように各々構成された複数のピクセルを含むタッチセンサパネルと、
プロセッサであって、
前記入力コンポーネントからの1つ以上の入力を分析し、
前記分析された入力に基づいて装置の接地状態を決定し、及び
前記決定された状態に基づいて各ピクセルのタッチ値を選択的に補償するための機能を与える、
ように構成されたプロセッサと、
を備えたタッチ感知装置。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記決定された状態が、不充分に接地された装置に対応する場合に、前記与えられた機能をアクチベートするように構成される、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記決定された状態が、部分的に接地された装置に対応する場合に、前記与えられた機能をアクチベートし、そしてその部分的接地のレベルに基づいて前記与えられた機能を調整するように構成される、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記決定された状態が、充分に接地された装置に対応する場合に、前記与えられた機能をデアクチベートするように構成される、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記決定された状態が、不充分に接地された装置又は部分的に接地された装置に対応する場合には、前記プロセッサは、装置が不充分に接地されるか部分的に接地される結果として装置によりタッチ値に導入されるエラーに対してピクセルのタッチ値を補償するように前記与えられた機能をアクチベートするよう構成される、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 装置に関連した複数のパラメータインジケータと、
前記インジケータにより与えられるパラメータ値を分析し、その分析された値に基づいて装置の状態を決定し、そしてその決定された状態に基づいて装置の出力又は動作の少なくとも1つを調整するように構成されたロジックと、
を備えたポータブル装置であって、
前記決定された状態は、接地状態及び不充分な接地状態の一方であり、そして前記ロジックは、装置が充分に接地されたか不充分に接地されたかに基づいて装置のタッチ出力を調整するポータブル装置。
