Claims (3)
- 調整リング(6)によって調整可能な複数の案内羽根(2)を備え、前記調整リング(6)には、その円周に少なくとも2個の連結装置(8)が対称に分布されており、前記少なくとも2個の連結装置(8)は、それぞれ別個の調整装置(10)に連結されており、前記少なくとも2個の連結装置(8)のそれぞれに対して前記調整装置(10)から同期して対称に力を与えることによって、前記少なくとも2個の連結装置(8)のそれぞれから前記調整リング(6)に力が加えられて、前記調整リング(6)の自律的な調心が行われつつ当該調心によって確保される仮想的な回動軸を中心とする前記調整リング(6)の回動が行われることで前記案内羽根(2)の調整が行われるように設定されており、もしも前記少なくとも2個の連結装置(8)のそれぞれで検出される前記力が非同期で非対称であると、前記調整が害され得る若しくは前記連結装置(8)又は前記調整リング(6)の自己固着(かじり)が生じ得る、排気駆動式過給機のタービンの案内羽根装置において、
前記案内羽根(2)を調整するために各前記調整装置(10)によって各前記連結装置(8)に与えられた力を直接又は間接に検出するための力検出装置、および、各前記連結装置(8)が取っている位置を直接又は間接に検出するための位置検出装置のうちの、少なくともいずれか一方を備え、
さらに、当該案内羽根装置が前記力検出装置を備えている場合には、各前記調整装置(10)によって各前記連結装置(8)に与えられた力同士を相互に比較して、又は、当該案内羽根装置が前記位置検出装置を備えている場合には、各前記連結装置(8)が取っている位置同士を相互に比較して、その比較結果を前記排気駆動式過給機の制御装置に伝える、監視装置と、
前記案内羽根(2)の調整のために必要な力、それらの力の差、前記各連結装置(8)が取っている位置、それらの位置の差、前記位置とその設定位置との差のうちの、少なくともいずれか1つが、所定の限界値を超過したときには、排気ガスタービンの運転を制限あるいは阻止する制御装置と
を備えたことを特徴とする排気駆動式過給機のタービンの案内羽根装置。 - 各前記連結装置(8)が、前記調整装置(10)としてのアクチュエータにそれぞれ連結されており、かつ
前記力検出装置が、前記アクチュエータの受けた電力と、当該アクチュエータにより発生された力又はトルク、あるいは、各前記連結装置(8)に作用する力又はトルク、もしくは前記調整リング(6)に作用する力又はトルクと、を検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の案内羽根装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の案内羽根装置の機能を、前記排気駆動式過給機の運転前、運転中、および運転終了後のうちの、少なくともいずれか1つの時期に、確実に遂行する、案内羽根装置の機能確保方法であって、
前記案内羽根(2)を調整するために各前記調整装置(10)によって各前記連結装置(8)に与えられた力を直接又は間接に検出する、または、各前記連結装置(8)が取っている位置を直接又は間接に検出する段階と、
各前記調整装置(10)によって各前記連結装置(8)に与えられた力又は各前記連結装置(8)が取っている位置を、相互に比較する段階と、
前記案内羽根(2)の調整中に、そのために必要な力、それらの力の差、および、各前記連結装置(8)が取っている位置とその設定位置との差のうちの、少なくともいずれか1つが、所定の限界値を超過したときには、排気ガスタービンの運転を制限あるいは阻止する段階と
を有していることを特徴とする案内羽根装置の機能確保方法。
