Claims (4)
- VOCを含有するガスと空気供給源から供給される空気とを混合する第1混合手段と、この第1混合手段によって混合された上記VOCを含有するガスと空気との混合ガスを加熱する混合ガス加熱手段と、上記空気供給源から供給される空気のうち一部の空気を分岐するバイパス経路と、上記混合ガス加熱手段によって加熱された混合ガスと上記バイパス経路を経て分岐した上記一部の空気とを混合する第2混合手段と、この第2混合手段によって混合された混合ガスを触媒に反応させて処理する触媒反応器と、この触媒反応器によって処理された処理ガスを上記混合ガス加熱手段に供給する処理ガス供給経路と、上記バイパス経路に備えられて該バイパス経路に分岐する上記一部の空気の流量を制御するバイパス調節弁とを備えた処理装置を用いたVOC含有ガスの処理方法であって、上記触媒反応器に供給される上記混合ガスの温度が低くなった場合には上記一部の空気の流量を上記バイパス調節弁によって減らすことにより上記混合ガスの温度を上昇させ、上記混合ガスの温度が高くなった場合には上記一部の空気の流量を上記バイパス調節弁によって増やして上記混合ガスの温度を低下させることを特徴とするVOC含有ガスの処理方法。
- 上記空気供給源と上記第1混合手段との間に空気調節弁を備えて、該空気供給源から供給される空気の流量に基づいて、上記第1混合手段において上記VOCを含有するガスと混合される空気量を、上記空気調節弁によって制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のVOC含有ガスの処理方法。
- 上記混合ガス加熱手段に供給されて上記混合ガスを加熱するとともに自身は冷却された上記処理ガスを外部に排出される排ガス量が一定となるように排出する誘引ファンを備えて、上記空気を上記空気供給源から誘引して供給するとともに、上記空気供給源から供給される空気の流量が減少した場合には上記空気調節弁を絞ることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のVOC含有ガスの処理方法。
- 上記バイパス調節弁による制御を、上記空気調節弁による制御よりも優先することを特徴とする請求項2または請求項3に記載のVOC含有ガスの処理方法。
