Claims (11)
- 大域クロックを、統合型ネットワークを介して接続される複数のネットワークデバイスに割り当てる方法であって、
a)汎用クロック取得ステージで複数の基地局送受信器(BTS)を用いて汎用クロックを取得するステップであって、前記複数の基地局送受信器のそれぞれが前記汎用クロックから前記大域クロックを導出する、ステップと、
b)前記大域クロックを、1つ以上の有線接続を介して、前記複数の基地局送受信器から、前記基地局送受信器を制御する複数のコントローラを有する制御ステージへ伝送するステップと、
c)前記大域クロックを、前記1つ以上の有線接続を介して前記制御ステージからネットワークアクセスステージに割り当てるステップであって、前記制御ステージ内のデバイスは、前記ネットワークアクセスステージへの割り当てのための最良の大域クロックを選択し、前記最良の大域クロックは、ある期間にわたって測定された大域クロックの平均に最も近い、ステップと、
d)前記最良の大域クロックを、前記ネットワークアクセスステージから前記統合型ネットワークを介して接続される全てのネットワークデバイスに割り当てるステップであって、前記ネットワークアクセスステージ内のデバイスは、前記ネットワークデバイスへの割り当てのための最良の大域クロックを選択する、ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記汎用クロック取得ステージは、少なくとも2つのBTSを含み、前記BTSのうちの1つが前記汎用クロックの取得又は提供に失敗する時に、単数または複数の他のBTSが前記制御ステージに前記大域クロックを提供し続ける、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記制御ステージは、少なくとも2つのコントローラを含み、前記コントローラのうちの1つが前記大域クロックの受信または提供に失敗する時に、他のコントローラが前記ネットワークアクセスステージに前記大域クロックを提供し続ける、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記ネットワークアクセスステージは、少なくとも2つのアクセスデバイスを含み、前記アクセスデバイスのうちの1つが前記大域クロックの受信または提供に失敗する時に、他のアクセスデバイスが前記複数のネットワークデバイスに前記大域クロックを提供し続ける、請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ネットワークデバイスは、顧客宅内に提供されるフェムトセルを含み、前記フェムトセルは、複数のワイヤレス使用可能な端末に対応するマイクロ基地局(MBS)を含む、請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記フェムトセルにおいて、
アクセスインターフェースを介して、前記統合型ネットワークから前記MBSで前記大域クロックを受信するステップと、
エアインターフェースに固有の所定の周期的ビットシーケンスを使用して、前記エアインターフェースを介して前記大域クロックを前記複数のワイヤレス使用可能な端末へ伝送するステップと、
全ての前記複数のワイヤレス使用可能な端末を、前記大域クロックと同期化するステップと、
をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記統合型ネットワークと前記MBSとの間の前記アクセスインターフェースは、前記顧客宅内で利用可能な有線接続を介して提供される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のワイヤレス使用可能な端末のそれぞれに本質的に提供される端末クロックを、前記所定の周期的ビットシーケンスによって提供される前記大域クロックに調整するステップ、
をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記汎用クロックは、衛星を利用したクロックである、請求項1乃至8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記衛星を利用したクロックは、GPSクロックである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記大域クロックは、200msの持続時間および30nsの立ち上がり時間を有する、1パルス/秒のクロック信号である、請求項1乃至8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
