Description
本発明の好ましい一実施形態によれば、患者の(冠状静脈洞のような)血管から流体を採取する方法及び装置が開示される。当該方法は、遠位端部まで伸びる細く柔軟なチューブ部を有する採取部材をカテーテルとして使用することを含む。環状シール部材(好ましい一実施形態においては、例えば、膨張可能バルーン)が、遠位端部から間隔をあけてチューブ部材に固定されている。チューブ部の内腔は、シール部材より遠位にある1つの流体吸入口を有する。チューブ部材の近位端部は、吸引力を採取内腔に及ぼすための吸引源に接続されるようになっている。当該方法は、血液が遠位端部からシール部材へ向かう方法に順行する血管中に遠位端部を挿入することを含む。採取内腔に吸引力が及ばない状態では、シール部材は、対向する血管の内面からは離れている。流体吸引口を通って血管から採取内腔に血液を取り込むのに充分であって、さらに、対向する血管の内面をシール部材の方向に移動させ、血管を塞ぐのに充分な吸引力が採取内腔に及ぶ。

Claims (6)
- 採取部材及び圧力センサを有し、血管から血液を採取するシステムであって、
前記採取部材は、
(i)採取内腔への流体流入口を区画する遠位端部と、前記採取内腔に吸引力を及ぼす吸引力源と接続されるように作られている近位端部とを有し、前記採取内腔を区画する柔軟なチューブ部分と、
(ii)前記チューブ部分の前記遠位端部に隣接して位置する環状シール部材と、
を有し、
前記圧力センサは、
前記環状シール部材より遠位側及び近位側に位置する前記血管内の血液の圧力を感知し、
前記環状シール部材は、
膨張する環状シール部材であり、
前記環状シール部材が前記血管内で膨張するサイズは、
前記圧力センサで感知された値に基づいて決定され、
前記システムは、
支持部材を有し、
前記支持部材は、
(i)前記採取内腔に吸引力が及んでいる状態で前記血管を開通したままに維持し、
(ii)前記採取部材の前記チューブ部分の前記遠位端部を前記血管内に維持し、
(iii)前記採取部材の前記チューブ部分の前記流体流入口を、前記血管の中心領域に置くように作られており、
前記チューブ部分の前記遠位端部より遠位側に位置することが可能であること、
を特徴とするシステム。 - 前記圧力センサは、
前記採取部材によって、前記血管内のある位置へ搬送されること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記圧力センサは、
前記採取部材の前記採取内腔内の圧力を感知し、前記環状シール部材より遠位側の位置における前記血管内の圧力を決定するように作られていること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 採取部材及び圧力センサを有し、血管から血液を採取するシステムであって、
前記採取部材は、
(i)採取内腔への流体流入口を区画する遠位端部と、前記採取内腔に吸引力を及ぼす吸引力源と接続されるように作られている近位端部とを有し、前記採取内腔を区画する柔軟なチューブ部分と、
(ii)前記チューブ部分の前記遠位端部に隣接して位置する環状シール部材と、
を有し、
前記圧力センサは、
前記環状シール部材より遠位側及び近位側に位置する前記血管内の血液の圧力を感知し、
前記環状シール部材は、
膨張する環状シール部材であり、
前記環状シール部材が前記血管内で膨張するサイズは、
前記圧力センサで感知された値に基づいて決定され、
前記システムは、
バルブを有し、
前記バルブは、
前記採取内腔に及ぼされる吸引力を制御し、
所定のイベントに続く時間間隔に基づいて選択的に開閉され、
前記所定のイベントは、
前記血管への造影剤の注入である、又は、前記血管への造影剤の注入に続く所定の心拍数であること、
を特徴とするシステム。 - 前記バルブは、
手動で開閉されること、
を特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。 - 前記バルブは、
ピンチバルブであること、
を特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。
