本願明細書は、例えば、以下の項目も提供する。

N個のアンテナ;及び、
前記N個のアンテナと連結され、
各々のK個の参照信号シーケンス及び各々のK個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいて各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成し(K<N)、
前記各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを前記N個のアンテナを介して送信するように形成されるプロセッサ;
を含むことを特徴とする参照信号送信装置。
(項目2)
前記プロセッサは、
前記各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第1の区間中に送信し、
各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンス及び各々のN−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいて各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成し、
前記各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第2の区間中に前記N個のアンテナを介して送信するように形成されることを特徴とする項目1に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目3)
前記各々のK個の仮想アンテナベクトル及び前記各々のN−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルは、N×Nの大きさの仮想アンテナ行列から選択される互いに異なる列ベクトル(column vector)であることを特徴とする項目2に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目4)
前記各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスのうち少なくとも一つ以上の参照信号シーケンスの参照信号パターンは、前記各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスのうち少なくとも一つ以上の参照信号シーケンスの参照信号パターンと同一であり、
参照信号パターンは、参照信号シーケンス送信に使われる時間−周波数リソースパターンであることを特徴とする項目3に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目5)
前記仮想アンテナ行列は、ユニタリ行列であることを特徴とする項目3に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目6)
前記プロセッサは、端末から仮想アンテナチャネル情報のフィードバックを受けることを特徴とする項目1に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目7)
前記プロセッサは、端末から前記物理的アンテナチャネル情報のフィードバックを受け、
前記物理的アンテナチャネル情報は、仮想アンテナチャネル及び前記仮想アンテナチャネル行列に基づいて推定されることを特徴とする項目3に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目8)
前記プロセッサは、
前記各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第1の周波数領域を介して送信し、
各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンス及び各々のN−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいて各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成し、
前記各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第2の周波数領域を介して前記N個のアンテナを介して送信するように形成されることを特徴とする項目1に記載の参照信号送信装置。
(項目9)
無線通信システムにおける参照信号送信方法において、
各々のK個の参照信号シーケンス及び各々のK個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいて各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成する段階(K<N);及び、
前記各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルをN個のアンテナを介して送信する段階;
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
(項目10)
前記各々のK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルは第1の区間中に送信され、
各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンス及び各々のN−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいて各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成する段階;及び、
前記各々のN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第2の区間中に前記N個のアンテナを介して送信する段階;
をさらに含むことを特徴とする項目9に記載の方法。
LTE端末に4アンテナ送信が適用される場合、基地局は、8個の仮想アンテナを構成し、4個の仮想アンテナを選択し、参照信号を送信することができる。この場合、次のような仮想アンテナ行列を構成することができる。
LTE端末に2アンテナ送信が適用される場合、基地局は、8個の仮想アンテナを構成し、2個の仮想アンテナを選択し、参照信号を送信することができる。この場合、次のような仮想アンテナ行列を構成することができる。
仮想アンテナの構成は仮想アンテナベクトル#i(vi)によりチャネル特性が決定される。従って、仮想アンテナベクトル#i(vi)を異に構成すると、異なる仮想アンテナを介して参照信号が送信される効果を得ることができる。
Nt個の仮想アンテナは、K個の仮想アンテナを含む第1の仮想アンテナグループとNt−K個の仮想アンテナを含む第2の仮想アンテナグループのように二つの仮想アンテナグループに定めることができる。例えば、Ntは8であり、Kは4である。第1の仮想アンテナグループ(G1)と第2の仮想アンテナグループ(G2)が第1の区間(t1)と第2の区間(t2)で互いに仮想アンテナベクトルが交換されるようにすることができる。この場合、全ての仮想アンテナベクトルにより生成されるNt個の仮想アンテナチャネルが固定された参照信号シーケンス位置で得ることができるように構成されることができる。
基地局は、Nt個の仮想アンテナのうちK個の仮想アンテナを任意に選択してK個の仮想アンテナに対する情報である仮想アンテナ情報をLTE−A端末に知らせることができる。この時、K個の仮想アンテナは時間によって変わることができる。選択されたK個の仮想アンテナに対する仮想アンテナ情報は一定周期毎に送信されることができる。または、Nt個の仮想アンテナのうちK個の仮想アンテナが選択されるパターンを予め定めることもできる。
前述の仮想アンテナ再設定、仮想アンテナ交換、仮想アンテナ選択などの方法を用いてNt個の送信アンテナMIMO技法のための測定用参照信号が送信されることができる。
Nt個の仮想アンテナを使用するLTE−A端末は、参照信号を用いてチャネルを推定する場合、仮想アンテナチャネル情報を得るようになる。
Claims (6)
- 参照信号を伝送する装置であって、
前記装置は、
N個のアンテナと、
前記N個のアンテナと作用可能に連結されたプロセッサと
を備え、
前記プロセッサは、
K個の参照信号シーケンス及びK個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいてK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成することであって、K<Nである、ことと、
前記K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを前記N個のアンテナを介して送信することであって、前記K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルは、第1の区間中に送信される、ことと、
N−K個の参照信号シーケンス及びN−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいてN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成することと、
前記N−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第2の区間中に前記N個のアンテナを介して送信することと
を実行するように構成され、
前記K個の仮想アンテナベクトル及び前記N−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルは、N×Nの大きさを有する仮想アンテナ行列から選択される互いに異なる列ベクトルであり、
LTEユーザ機器にKアンテナ送信が適用され、LTE−Aユーザ機器にNアンテナ送信が適用され、
前記仮想アンテナ行列は、前記LTEユーザ機器をサポートする送信アンテナの個数によって異なるように構成され、
パターンインデックスにより指示される前記N−K個の参照信号シーケンスのうちの一つは、仮想アンテナインデックスにより指示される仮想アンテナにマッピングされ、
前記仮想アンテナインデックス及び前記パターンインデックスの値は、前記第1及び第2の区間に対して異なるように適用される、装置。 - 前記K個の参照信号シーケンスのうち少なくとも一つの参照信号シーケンスの参照信号パターンは、前記N−K個の参照信号シーケンスのうち少なくとも一つの参照信号シーケンスの参照信号パターンと同一であり、
前記参照信号パターンは、参照信号シーケンスの送信に使われる時間−周波数リソースパターンである、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 各仮想アンテナ行列は、ユニタリ行列である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、ユーザ機器から仮想アンテナチャネル情報を受信するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、ユーザ機器から物理的アンテナチャネル情報を受信するように構成され、
前記物理的アンテナチャネル情報は、仮想アンテナチャネル及び前記仮想アンテナ行列に基づいて推定される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 無線通信システムにおける参照信号を送信する方法であって、
前記方法は、
K個の参照信号シーケンス及びK個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいてK個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成することであって、K<Nである、ことと、
前記K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルをN個のアンテナを介して送信することであって、前記K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルは、第1の区間中に送信される、ことと、
N−K個の参照信号シーケンス及びN−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルに基づいてN−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを生成することと、
前記N−K個の参照信号シーケンスベクトルを第2の区間中に前記N個のアンテナを介して送信することと
を含み、
前記K個の仮想アンテナベクトル及び前記N−K個の仮想アンテナベクトルは、N×Nの大きさを有する仮想アンテナ行列から選択される互いに異なる列ベクトルであり、
LTEユーザ機器にKアンテナ送信が適用され、LTE−Aユーザ機器にNアンテナ送信が適用され、
前記仮想アンテナ行列は、前記LTEユーザ機器をサポートする送信アンテナの個数によって異なるように構成され、
パターンインデックスにより指示される前記N−K個の参照信号シーケンスのうちの一つは、仮想アンテナインデックスにより指示される仮想アンテナにマッピングされ、
前記仮想アンテナインデックス及び前記パターンインデックスの値は、前記第1及び第2の区間に対して異なるように適用される、方法。
