Claims (20)
- (a)水と、ロジウム触媒、イリジウム触媒およびこれらの混合物から選択される触媒と、ヨウ化メチルとの存在下、メタノールをカルボニル化して、反応器中で酢酸反応混合物を生成させる工程と、
(b)前記酢酸反応混合物のストリームを、液体として再利用されるストリームと、酢酸、ヨウ化メチル、酢酸メチルおよび水を含む粗生成物ストリームとに分ける工程と、
(c)前記粗生成物ストリームを、上部と、下部と、生成物側部取り出し口が設けられた中部とを有する蒸留域を備えた軽留塔に供給する工程と、
(d)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域内の前記粗生成物ストリームから、ヨウ化メチルおよび酢酸メチルを除去して、前記粗生成物ストリームよりも低濃度のヨウ化メチルおよび酢酸メチルを含み、より精製された生成物ストリームを生成させる工程と、
(e)前記軽留塔の前記側部取り出し口から、前記より精製された生成物ストリームを取り出す工程と、を有する酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法であって、
前記より精製された生成物ストリームを生成させる工程では、
(i)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記上部からのオーバーヘッドの蒸気を凝縮させる工程と、
(ii)凝縮されたオーバーヘッドの蒸気の少なくとも一部を、液体として、前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域に還流する工程と、
(iii)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記中部からの蒸気を凝縮させる工程と、を含むことを特徴とする酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。 - 前記より精製された生成物ストリームを、水の除去を含むさらなる精製へと給出する工程、をさらに含む請求項1に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記より精製された生成物ストリームは、質量フローレートRで前記軽留塔から取り出され、前記軽留塔の前記中部からの蒸気は、0.05R〜0.5Rの比率で凝縮される、請求項1に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記より精製された生成物ストリームは、質量フローレートRで前記軽留塔から取り出され、前記軽留塔の前記中部からの蒸気は、0.1R以上の比率で凝縮される、請求項1に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。

- (a)水と、ロジウム触媒、イリジウム触媒およびこれらの混合物から選択される触媒と、ヨウ化メチルとの存在下、メタノールをカルボニル化して、反応器中で酢酸反応混合物を生成させる工程と、
(b)前記酢酸反応混合物のストリームを、液体として再利用されるストリームと、酢酸、ヨウ化メチル、酢酸メチルおよび水を含む粗生成物ストリームとに分ける工程と、
(c)前記粗生成物ストリームを、上部と、下部と、生成物側部取り出し口が設けられた中部とを有する蒸留域を備えた軽留塔に供給する工程と、
(d)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域内の前記粗生成物ストリームから、ヨウ化メチルおよび酢酸メチルを除去して、前記粗生成物ストリームよりも低濃度のヨウ化メチルおよび酢酸メチルを含み、より精製された生成物ストリームを生成させる工程と、
(e)前記軽留塔の前記側部取り出し口から、前記より精製された生成物ストリームを取り出す工程と、を有する酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法であって、
前記より精製された生成物ストリームを生成させる工程では、
(i)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記上部からのオーバーヘッドの蒸気を、第一凝縮器で凝縮させる工程と、
(ii)凝縮されたオーバーヘッドの蒸気の少なくとも一部を、液体として、前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域に還流する工程と、
(iii)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記中部からの蒸気を、第二凝縮器で凝縮させる工程と、を含むことを特徴とする酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。 - 前記軽留塔の相対的な蒸気量QRは、同一の軽留塔で同一の条件下で前記第二凝縮器がない場合に比べて、0.75〜0.95倍である、請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記軽留塔の相対的な蒸気量QRは、同一の軽留塔で同一の条件下で前記第二凝縮器がない場合に比べて、0.9倍以下である、請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記第二凝縮器は、前記軽留塔の外部側方に設けられている、請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記第二凝縮器は、前記軽留塔の内部に設けられている、請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記第二凝縮器により凝縮される蒸気は、前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記生成物側部取り出し口より高い位置に由来する、請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記第二凝縮器により凝縮された蒸気は、前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域に、液体として還流される、請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記第二凝縮器により凝縮された蒸気は、前記より精製された生成物ストリームと組み合わされ、さらなる精製へと給出される請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- 前記より精製された生成物ストリーム中のヨウ化メチルおよび酢酸メチルの濃度は、前記第二凝縮器がない状態で同一の条件下で同一の軽留塔から取り出されたより精製された生成物ストリームのヨウ化メチルおよび酢酸メチルの濃度と、同じである請求項8に記載の酢酸を製造するためのカルボニル化処理方法。
- (a)水と、ロジウム触媒、イリジウム触媒およびこれらの混合物から選択される触媒と、ヨウ化メチルとの存在下、メタノールをカルボニル化して、酢酸反応混合物を生成させるように構成された反応器と、
(b)前記反応器に接続され、前記反応混合物のストリームを受け取るように構成され、かつ、前記反応混合物を、(i)液体として再利用されるストリームと、(ii)酢酸を含む粗生成物ストリームとに分けるように構成された気化器と、
(c)前記気化器に接続され、前記粗生成物ストリームから低沸点成分を分離して、より精製された生成物ストリームを生成するように構成され、上部と、下部と、生成物側部取り出し口が設けられた中部とを有する蒸留域を備え、さらに底部に前記粗生成物ストリームの残余物を排出する排出口を備えた軽留塔と、
(d)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記上部に接続され、該上部のオーバーヘッド蒸気を凝縮するように構成され、かつ、凝縮されたオーバーヘッド蒸気の少なくとも一部を、液体として前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域に還流するように構成された第一凝縮器と、
(e)前記軽留塔の前記蒸留域の前記中部の前記生成物側部取り出し口よりも高い位置に接続され、該位置から給入した蒸気を凝縮するように構成され、かつ前記軽留塔の前記中部の前記蒸気を給入した位置よりも高い位置に前記凝縮した蒸気を液体として還流するように構成された第二凝縮器と、
(f)前記軽留塔の前記生成物側部取り出し口に接続され、前記より精製された生成物ストリームを受け取り、水を含む該生成物ストリームをさらに精製するように構成された脱水塔と、を有することを特徴とする酢酸製造装置。 - 前記第二凝縮器は、前記軽留塔の外部側方に設けられている、請求項17に記載の酢酸製造装置。
- 前記第二凝縮器は、前記軽留塔の内部に設けられている、請求項17に記載の酢酸製造装置。
- 前記第二凝縮器は、給入口を、前記生成物側部取り出し口より高い位置に有する、請求項18に記載の酢酸製造装置。
