a = x軸に沿って測定した、ヒンジプレートの第2の壁86または支点部104により反力Fがかけられる場所と、アクチュエータ58およびアダプタ66により板ばね80に荷重Aがかけられる場所との間の距離、
E = 板ばね80の弾性係数(板ばね80を作製するために使用する材料により決定される定数)、および
I = 板ばね80の慣性モーメント(板ばね80の断面形状により決定される定数)。
上記のことは、整形外科装具用の本制動ヒンジを実施するために考えられたベストモードの説明であり、また本制動ヒンジを作製し使用する方法および工程の説明であって、それらの説明から、いかなる当業者もこのヒンジを作製し使用し得る、完全で、明確、簡潔、正確な用語による説明である。しかしながら、このヒンジは、上に説明した構造から、完全に等価である構造へ変更しまたはそれと置き換えることができる。したがって、このヒンジは、ここに開示した特定の実施形態に限定されない。一方、このヒンジは、次の特許請求の範囲により全体が示されるような本ヒンジの精神および範囲内で変更し置き換えられたヒンジの構造すべてをカバーし、この特許請求の範囲は、ヒンジの主題を詳細に示し明確にクレームしている。
Claims (18)
- 整形外科装具用のヒンジであって、
ヒンジプレートと、
前記ヒンジプレートに回動可能に取り付けられた第1のアームと、
前記ヒンジプレートに回動可能に取り付けられた第2のアームと、
前記第2のアームに取り付けられたアクチュエータと、
ばね部材と、
を備え、
前記アーム同士の間の角度が小さくなる屈曲方向に、前記アームが回動して、前記アームが所望の屈曲角度になると、前記ばね部材は、前記屈曲方向と反対の伸展方向に前記第2のアームを付勢するように前記アクチュエータに力をかける整形外科装具用ヒンジ。 - 前記ばね部材は、少なくとも1枚の平坦な棒材を含む、請求項1に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記ばね部材は、3枚の平坦な棒材を含む、請求項2に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記ヒンジプレートは、前記ばね部材の固定端部を支持し、第1の軸線に沿った前記固定端部の移動を抑止する、請求項3に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記アームが前記屈曲方向に回動すると、前記アクチュエータは、前記ばね部材の自由端部に接触して、前記ばね部材を撓ませる、請求項4に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記ばね部材の固定端部と自由端部との中間に配置される支点部をさらに備える、請求項5に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記支点部は、前記ヒンジプレートとアクチュエータとともに、前記ばね部材に3点曲げ荷重を生じさせる、請求項6に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記支点部は、前記ばね部材に沿った複数の位置に選択的に配置可能である、請求項6に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記ヒンジプレートは、少なくとも1つの開口部を含む、請求項8に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの開口部は、前記支点部を受け入れるように適合される、請求項9に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの開口部は、雌ねじを含む、請求項9に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記支点部は、雄ねじを含む軸を有し、前記雄ねじは、前記開口部内に前記支点部が固定されるよう、前記少なくとも1つの開口部における前記雌ねじと係合する、請求項11に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記アクチュエータに取り付けられるアダプタをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記アダプタは、前記アクチュエータとばね部材との間に配置されて、前記アダプタの厚さによって、前記ばね部材が最初に前記アクチュエータに力をかける、前記第2のアームの角度位置が決定される、請求項13に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記アクチュエータと前記ばね部材との間に配置された緩衝部をさらに備える、請求項14に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記アームが前記屈曲方向に回動すると、前記アダプタは、前記緩衝部と接触し、当該緩衝部は、次に、前記ばね部材と接触して、前記ばね部材が撓む、請求項15に記載のヒンジ。
- 前記ヒンジプレートは、第1のヒンジプレートであり、当該ヒンジは、第2のヒンジプレートをさらに含み、前記第2のヒンジプレートは、前記第1のヒンジプレートと当該第2のヒンジプレートとの間に前記アームが配置されるように前記第1のヒンジプレートから間隔をあけて配置されている、請求項1に記載のヒンジ。
- ヒンジを含む整形外科装具であって、前記ヒンジは、
ヒンジプレートと、
前記ヒンジプレートに回動可能に取り付けられた第1のアームと、
前記ヒンジプレートに回動可能に取り付けられた第2のアームと、
前記第2のアームに取り付けられたアクチュエータと、
ばね部材と、
を備え、
当該装具が完全屈曲するように回動すると、前記ばね部材は、当該装具が完全屈曲から脱する方向に付勢する力を前記アクチュエータにかける、整形外科装具。
