Description
マトリックス材料;そして
略平行に離れて実質的にマトリックス材料内に配置された複数の繊維プライ;そして、
一次繊維の2次元プライを備えている繊維プライ支持シートと、このシートの平面の外方に略直線状に整列してその表面の少なくとも大部分を横切って配置された第3次元へと延出した二次繊維の2次元平面配列と、を備えている、少なくとも1つの二次プライ、
を備えていて、二次繊維が二次プライの両側から外方に突出している、
複合構造が提供されている。
略平行に離れてマトリックス材料内に、例えば構造内において高い層間応力の領域に、実質的に配置されている複数の強化繊維プライ;
繊維プライ支持シートを備えている少なくとも1つの二次プライを備えており、繊維プライ支持シートは、一次繊維の二次元プライを備えていて、シートの平面の外方に直線状に整列して第三次元中に延出していてその表面の少なくとも大部分を横切って配置されている二次繊維の二次元平面配列を有しており、ここにおいて二次繊維は二次プライの両側から外方に突出している。この二次プライは上述した如く一次強化繊維プライを更に備えて良いし、或いは、繊維の又は他の構成材料の誂え(bespoke)支持シートであって良い。
シート材料の支持層そして好ましくは一次繊維材料の繊維プライを提供する工程;
支持層の平面の外方に延出していてその表面の少なくとも大部分を横切って配置されている二次繊維の複数の配列を、例えば支持層が繊維プライの場合、一次繊維の間の隙間中に浸透させる(infiltrating)ことにより、支持層に、そして好ましくは支持層を通って、導入し、二次繊維が二次プライの両側から外方に突出する、工程、
を備えている。
上述したように複数の二次支持プライを準備する工程;
任意に、このような二次繊維を伴なうことなく、二次元一次繊維プライ構造を備えた複数の一次強化繊維プライを準備する工程と;
複数のプライ(即ち、所望の最終性質の為の適切な組み合わせにおける二次支持プライ及び一次強化繊維プライの)を、略平行に離れて、マトリックス材料の適切な先駆物質(precursor)、及び例えば硬化性マトリックス材料とともに、積み上げる工程;そして、
それらを例えばマトリックスを硬化させることにより処理して繊維強化複合材料を形成する工程、
を備えている。
Claims (14)
- マトリックス材料及び繊維強化の複数のプライを備えている連続繊維強化複合構造中に組み込まれる二次強化支持プライであって、一次繊維の2次元プライを備えている繊維プライ支持シートと、このシートの平面の外方に略直線状に整列して第3次元へと延出しその表面を横切って分散して配置された二次繊維の2次元平面配列と、を備えていて、二次繊維はシートの両側から外方に突出している、二次強化支持プライ。
- 前記二次繊維が、略均等に分散された配列で前記支持シートを横切って配列されている、請求項1に従っている二次強化支持プライ。
- 前記二次繊維が、直線状に配列されて支持シートに対し略直角に延出して外方に突出している、請求項1又は2に従っている二次強化支持プライ。
- 前記二次繊維が、前記支持シートの両側から外方に突出するよう前記支持シートを通って延出し、前記支持シートの前記一次繊維の構造が変質されないよう前記支持シート中に維持されるよう前記支持シートを通して浸透されている、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に従っている二次強化支持プライ。
- 前記二次繊維が、0.25mmと3mmとの間の平均長さを有している繊維を備えている、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に従っている二次強化支持プライ。
- 前記二次繊維が、6μmと30μmとの間の平均直径を有している、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に従っている二次強化支持プライ。
- 前記請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に従っている少なくとも1つの二次強化支持プライを備えていて、マトリックス材料の内部に実質的に配置された複合構造。
- 前記マトリックス材料の内部に実質的に配置された複数の前記二次強化支持プライを備えていて、少なくとも幾つかの隣接している前記二次強化支持プライが、それらの前記二次繊維を互いに向かいそれらの間の前記マトリックス材料中に突出させている、請求項7に従っている複合構造。
- 略平行に離間して実質的に前記マトリックス材料内に配置された複数の一次繊維プライ構造を備えている、請求項7又は8に従っている複合構造。
- シート材料の支持層を提供する工程と;
前記支持層の平面の外方に延出していてその表面を横切って配置されている二次繊維の平坦な配列を前記支持層に導入し、前記二次繊維を前記支持層の両側から外方に突出させる、工程と;
を備えている、複合構造において使用する為の二次強化支持プライを準備する方法。 - 前記支持層が一次繊維のプライであり、そして前記二次繊維の前記配列が、二次繊維を前記一次繊維の間の隙間中に浸透させることにより前記プライを通して導入されている、請求項10に従っている方法。
- 二次繊維の前記配列が、スプレイ工程により直線状に導入されている、請求項10又は11に従っている方法。
- 請求項10乃至12のいずれか1項の方法に従って複数の二次強化支持プライを準備する工程と;
前記複数の一次繊維のプライを略平行に離間してマトリックス材料の先駆物質とともに積み上げる工程と;そして、
それらを繊維強化複合材料を形成するよう処理する工程と、
を備えている、複合材料を準備する方法。 - 前記積み上げ工程が、略平行に離間して積み上げられた前記複数の一次繊維のプライの間に前記複数の二次強化支持プライを差し込む、ことを備えている、請求項13に従っている方法。
