Claims (4)
- カーボンを表面素材としたロールの製造方法であって、
前記表面を、研磨によってRa0.4μm以下の鏡面状態に形状加工を施す表面加工工程と、
真空環境において、カーボンロールの周囲に高周波電圧による環状のプラズマを発生させて、該カーボンロールの前記表面をスパッタリングにより洗浄する洗浄工程と、
50度C以下の真空環境において、前記カーボンロールの周囲に高周波電圧による環状のプラズマを発生させた状態で、前記カーボンロールにイオン注入用の負の高電圧パルスを印加して、加工後の非メッキ処理状態となる前記カーボンロール母材の前記表面の内部にカーボンイオン及びシリコンイオンを注入してSiC結合の分子を含有するミキシング層を形成し、更に前記カーボンロールに供給する電圧を制御して前記表面にカーボンイオンを引き付けて、前記SiC分子と結合させて積層して、膜厚が4nm以下の、非ダイヤモンド膜となるダイヤモンドライクカーボン膜を形成する被膜工程と、
を備えることを特徴とするロール製造方法。 - 前記被膜工程において、DLC成膜用の原料ガスにフッ素又はホウ素を混合させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のロール製造方法。
- 前記表面加工工程において、前記表面に凹凸を形成することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のロール製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のロール製造方法によって製造されることを特徴とする被膜形成ロール。
