Description
先ず、本発明の蛍光体の実施の形態について説明する。本発明の蛍光体は、結晶の基本骨格がY2Si3N6と同一の化合物を含み、その化合物は、発光中心イオンとしてCe3+イオンを含むことを特徴とする。
次に、本発明の光源について図面に基づき説明する。図1は、本発明の光源の基本構造の一例を示す断面図である。
本発明の蛍光体として、(Y0.98Ce0.02)2Si3N6の組成を有するY2Si3N6:Ce3+窒化物蛍光体を作製した。蛍光体の作製は、工業生産に好ましい炭素熱還元窒化法を用いた。
(1)Y2O3 :0.98モル(11.065g)
(2)CeO2 :0.04モル( 0.344g)
(3)Si3N4 :1.0モル ( 7.413g)
(4)C :3.0モル ( 1.802g)
以下に示す項目と手法(使用設備)で蛍光体を評価した。
(1)結晶構成物:X線回折法(MultiFlex:(株)リガク)
(2)励起/発光スペクトル:蛍光分光光度計(FP−6500:日本分光(株))
0.98Y2O3+0.04CeO2+Si3N4+3C+N2+0.02H2 →
(Y0.98Ce0.02)2Si3N6+3CO↑+0.02H2O↑

Claims (2)
- 発光中心イオンとしてCe3+イオンを少なくとも含むY2Si3N6であることを特徴とする蛍光体。
- 発光素子と、前記発光素子が放つ一次光の少なくとも一部を吸収する蛍光体とを含む光源であって、
前記発光素子が放つ一次光は、360nm以上500nm未満の波長領域に発光ピークを有し、
前記蛍光体は、請求項1に記載の蛍光体であり、
前記蛍光体は、前記一次光の少なくとも一部を吸収して波長変換し、前記一次光よりも波長が長い発光成分を放つことを特徴とする光源。
