Description
(a)複数の異なる潤滑油組成物試料であって、各試料が(i)主要量の少なくとも一種の潤滑粘度の基油、(ii)少量の少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤および(iii)予め決めた量の基油不溶性物質からなる試料を供給する工程、(b)各試験試料の分散性能を測定して、対応分散性能データ結果とする工程、そして(c)工程(b)の結果を出力する工程。
(a)複数の試料受け器であって、各受け器には、(i)主要量の少なくとも一種の潤滑粘度の基油、(ii)少量の少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤および(iii)予め決めた量の基油不溶性物質からなる異なる潤滑油組成物試料が含まれている、(b)試料受け器を、試料それぞれの分散性能を測定するための試験ステーションに別個に位置させる受け器移動手段、および(c)試験ステーションにて試料の分散性能を測定して試料に関連した分散性能データを得て、そして分散性能データをコンピュータ制御装置に転送する手段。

Claims (26)
- 潤滑油組成物試料の分散性能をプログラム制御下でハイスループット処理によりスクリーニングする方法であって、下記の工程を含む方法:
(a)複数の異なる潤滑油組成物試料であって、各試料が(i)主要量の少なくとも一種の潤滑粘度の基油、(ii)少量の少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤および(iii)予め決
めた量のスラッジを含む試料を供給する工程、
(b)各試料の動粘度を予め決めた温度で測定することにより分散性能を測定して、対応する分散性能データ結果とする工程、そして
(c)自動的に工程(b)の結果を出力する工程。 - 基油が天然油または合成油である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤が、酸化防止剤、耐摩耗性添加剤、清浄剤、さび止め添加剤、曇り除去剤、抗乳化剤、金属不活性化剤、摩擦緩和剤、流動点降下剤、消泡剤、補助溶剤、パッケージ混合剤、腐食防止剤、無灰分散剤、染料、極圧剤およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選ばれる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤が無灰分散剤である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 分散剤が、ポリアルキレンコハク酸無水物;ポリアルキレンコハク酸無水物の非窒素含有誘導体;コハク酸イミド、カルボン酸アミド、炭化水素モノアミン、炭化水素ポリアミン、マンニッヒ塩基、ホスホンアミド、チオホスホンアミドおよびリンアミドからなる群より選ばれる塩基性窒素化合物;チアゾール;トリアゾール;一以上の追加極性官能基を持つカルボン酸エステルを含む共重合体;ホウ酸塩後処理コハク酸イミド、エチレンカーボネート後処理コハク酸イミド;およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選ばれる請求項4に記載の方法。
- スラッジが、回収した使用済みエンジン油である請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、下記の工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法:
スラッジを含まない対応する潤滑油組成物基準試料を用意する工程、
上記対応基準試料の動粘度を測定する工程、そして
それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料の動粘度と対応潤滑油組成物基準試料の動粘度との差百分率を決定する工程。 - それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料の容量が50mL以下である請求項1に記載の方法。
- それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料の容量が20mL以下である請求項1に記載の方法。
- それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料の容量が15mL以下である請求項1に記載の方法。
- それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料の容量が10mL以下である請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、分散性能を測定する前に潤滑油組成物試料を均質化する工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料を均質化する工程を機械的撹拌により行う請求項12に記載の方法。
- それぞれの潤滑油組成物試料を均質化する工程を超音波撹拌により行う請求項12に記載の方法。
- 工程(b)の結果を自動的に出力する工程(c)が、工程(b)の分散性能データをデジタル信号に変換し、そしてデジタル信号をマイクロプロセッサに送信することからなる請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、マイクロプロセッサに送信した分散性能データを電子的に保存されたデータベースにコンパイルし、そしてデータベースからコンビナトリアル潤滑油組成物ライブラリを構築する工程を含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤が更に希釈油を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 潤滑剤性能をプログラム制御下でハイスループット処理によりスクリーニングするためのシステムであって、下記の手段を含むシステム:
a)複数の試料容器であって、各容器には、(i)主要量の少なくとも一種の潤滑粘度の基油、(ii)少量の少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤および(iii)予め決めた量のスラッジを含む、互いに異なる潤滑油組成物試料が含まれている、
b)試料容器を、該試料それぞれの分散性能を測定するための試験ステーションに別々
に位置させる容器移動手段、および
c)試験ステーションにて各試料の動粘度を予め決めた温度で測定することにより分散性能を測定して各試料に関連した分散性能データを得て、そして分散性能データをコンピュータ制御装置に転送する手段。 - 容器移動手段が可動キャリジから構成される請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 容器移動手段が、選択した個々の容器を把持して移動させる可動アームを有するロボット組立装置から構成される請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 容器移動手段が試料容器を撹拌する手段を含む請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 各試料容器の外側表面にバーコードが付けられている請求項18に記載のシステム。
- さらに、バーコード読取装置を含む請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 潤滑粘度の基油が天然油または合成油である請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤が、酸化防止剤、耐摩耗性添加剤、清浄剤、さび止め添加剤、曇り除去剤、抗乳化剤、金属不活性化剤、摩擦緩和剤、流動点降下剤、消泡剤、補助溶剤、パッケージ混合剤、腐食防止剤、無灰分散剤、染料、極圧剤およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選ばれる請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも一種の潤滑油添加剤が無灰分散剤である請求項18に記載のシステム。
