Description
本発明は多層色彩効果顔料に関し、特に透明な高屈折率材料の層、および透明な高屈折率材料と透明な低屈折率材料とから成る少なくとも一対の層をその上に有する透明な基質を含み、該層の全部の数は奇数であり、各層はその屈折率が隣接した層と少なくとも約0.2だけ異なっており、また少なくとも一つの層は光学的な厚さが他のすべての層と異なっており、このようにして該顔料は1/4波長積層構造をなしていないことを特徴とする多層色彩効果顔料に関する。
本発明に従えば、本発明の色彩効果顔料は奇数の層が被覆された透明な基質から構成され、該層の少なくとも一つは他のすべての層とは異なった光学的な厚さを有し、これによって該顔料の1/4波長の積層化を行なう必要がない構成をもっている。

防腐剤および酸化防止剤 適量
次に、7部のパルミチン酸オクチルおよび1部のネオペンタン酸イソステアリルを加熱し、均一になるまで混合し、この時点において得られた混合物を該分散物の中に噴霧して加え、配合を続ける。配合された材料を粉末にした後、5部のCloisonne(R) Red 424Cおよび5部の本発明の顔料を加え、均一な粉末状のアイシャドーが得られるまで混合する。

酸化防止剤 適量
次に13部の本発明の顔料および1部のカオリンの混合物を加え、すべての顔料が十分分散するまで混合する。必要に応じ香料を加え撹拌しながら混合する。得られた混合物を75±5℃において型に注ぎ、冷却し、焔で処理して棒状の口紅にする。
本発明の好適な実施の態様は次のとおりである。
1. 多層の色彩効果顔料であって、該顔料は
透明な高屈折率材料の一つの層をその上に有する透明な基質、および
一つが高屈折率材料であり他の一つが低屈折率材料である少なくとも一対の透明な層を含んで成り、
該層の全部の数は奇数であり、各層はその屈折率が隣接した層と少なくとも約0.2だけ異なっており、また少なくとも一つの層は光学的な厚さが他のすべての層と異なっており、このようにして該顔料は1/4波長積層構造をなしていないことを特徴とする多層色彩効果顔料。
2. 高屈折率材料のすべての層は同じ材料であり、また低屈折率材料のすべての層は同じ材料であることを特徴とする上記1記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
3. 高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンであり、低屈折率材料は二酸化珪素であることを特徴とする上記2記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
4. 二酸化珪素の各層の厚さは約40〜80nmであることを特徴とする上記3記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
5. 層の全部の数は3であることを特徴とする上記4記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
6. 基質に対して最も外側にある二酸化チタンの層の厚さは他のどの二酸化チタンの層の厚さよりも厚いことを特徴とする上記5記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
7. 透明な基質の上の最も外側の二酸化チタンの層は厚さが約60〜170nmであることを特徴とする上記6記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
8. 高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンまたは酸化鉄を含んで成り、低屈折率材料は二酸化珪素であることを特徴とする上記1記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
9. 二酸化珪素の各層の厚さは約40〜80nmであることを特徴とする上記8記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
10. 層の全部の数は3であることを特徴とする上記1記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
11. 基質に対して最も外側にある層の厚さは他のどの層の厚さよりも厚いことを特徴とする上記10記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
12. 透明な基質の上の最も外側の層は厚さが約60〜170nmであることを特徴とする上記11記載の多層色彩効果顔料。
13. 顔料を含む塗料またはインクの組成物において、該顔料は上記1記載の効果顔料であることを特徴とする改良された組成物。
14. 顔料を含むプラスティックス組成物において、該顔料は上記1記載の効果顔料であることを特徴とする改良された組成物。
15. 顔料を含む化粧品組成物において、該顔料は上記1記載の効果顔料であることを特徴とする改良された組成物。
16. 多層色彩効果顔料の製造法において、高屈折率の透明な材料をその上に有する透明な基質をつくり、各層の屈折率がそれぞれ隣接した層の屈折率と少なくとも約0.2だけ異なるように選ばれた低屈折率の透明な材料の層および高屈折率の透明な材料の層を該被覆された基質の上に順次被覆し、この際基質の上の層の少なくとも一つは他のすべての層と光学的な厚さが異なるように被覆をコントロールし、このようにして1/4波長積層構造をもたない顔料が得られるようにすることを特徴とする方法。
17. 高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンまたは酸化鉄を含んで成り、低屈折率材料は二酸化珪素であることを特徴とする上記16記載の方法。
18. 二酸化珪素の各層の厚さは約40〜80nmであることを特徴とする上記17記載の方法。
19. 層の全部の数は3であることを特徴とする上記18記載の方法。
20. 基質に対して最も外側にある二酸化チタンの層の厚さは他のどの二酸化チタンの層の厚さよりも厚いことを特徴とする上記16記載の方法。
21. 透明な基質の上の二酸化チタンの層は厚さが約60〜170nmであることを特徴とする上記20記載の方法。
22. 低屈折率材料は二酸化珪素であり、二酸化珪素の各層の厚さは約40〜80nmであることを特徴とする上記16記載の方法。
23. 層の全部の数は3であることを特徴とする上記16記載の方法。
24. 基質に対して最も外側にある層の厚さは他のどの層の厚さよりも厚いことを特徴とする上記16記載の方法。
25. 透明な基質の上の最も外側の層は厚さが約60〜170nmであることを特徴とする上記16記載の方法。
Claims (5)
- 多層の色彩効果顔料であって、該顔料は
透明な高屈折率材料の一つの層をその上に有する透明な小板基質、ただし該高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンである、および
一つが高屈折率材料であり他の一つが低屈折率材料である少なくとも一対の透明な層、ただし該高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンであり、該低屈折率材料は約40〜80nmの厚さを有する二酸化珪素である、を含んで成り、
全部の層の数は3であり、各層はその屈折率が隣接した層と少なくとも約0.2だけ異なっており、また少なくとも一つの層は光学的な厚さが他のすべての層と異なっており、このようにして該顔料は1/4波長積層構造をなしておらず、基質に対して最も外側の二酸化チタンの層は他の二酸化チタンの層の厚さよりも厚くて約60〜170nmの厚さを有していることを特徴とする多層色彩効果顔料。 - 顔料を含む塗料またはインクの組成物において、該顔料は請求項1記載の効果顔料であることを特徴とする改良された組成物。
- 顔料を含むプラスティックス組成物において、該顔料は請求項1記載の効果顔料であることを特徴とする改良された組成物。
- 顔料を含む化粧品組成物において、該顔料は請求項1記載の効果顔料であることを特徴とする改良された組成物。
- 多層色彩効果顔料の製造法において、高屈折率の透明な材料をその上に有する透明な小板基質をつくり、ただし該高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンである、各層の屈折率がそれぞれ隣接した層の屈折率と少なくとも約0.2だけ異なるように選ばれた低屈折率の透明な材料の層および高屈折率の透明な材料の層を該被覆された基質の上に順次被覆し、ただし該高屈折率材料は二酸化チタンであり、該低屈折率材料は約40〜80nmの厚さを有する二酸化珪素である、この際基質の上の層の少なくとも一つは他のすべての層と光学的な厚さが異なるように被覆をコントロールし、このようにして1/4波長積層構造をもたない顔料が得られるようにし、全部の層の数は3であり、基質に対して最も外側の二酸化チタンの層は他の二酸化チタンの層の厚さよりも厚くて約60〜170nmの厚さを有していることを特徴とする方法。
