Claims (8)
- 被加工材を切削加工するための支持工具に組み付けるためのスローアウェイチップ(1)であって、上面(2)、下面(3)及び該上面(2)と該下面(3)とを結合する周囲ジオメトリ(4)を備え、前記上面(2)及び前記下面(3)から前記周囲ジオメトリ(4)への移行部にカッティングコーナ(5)及びカッティングエッジ(6)が配置されており、前記周囲ジオメトリ(4)が両側で前記カッティングコーナ(5)及び前記カッティングエッジ(6)の下側に周囲を取り巻くポジティブな逃げ面(7a,7b)を有しており、該逃げ面(7a,7b)が前記カッティングコーナ(5)及び前記カッティングエッジ(6)に対して引き込められていることにより、両側でポジティブな逃げ角(α)が形成されており、前記周囲ジオメトリ(4)上で前記上面(2)及び前記下面(3)に関して対向する2つの逃げ面(7a,7b)間に、該逃げ面(7a,7b)の最深の部位に対して張り出した鍔(8)が配置されており、該鍔(8)の表面(9)が、前記支持工具における当接面として働くスローアウェイチップにおいて、
前記逃げ面(7a,7b)は、前記カッティングエッジ(6)及び前記カッティングコーナ(5)に直接隣接する当接領域(11)において、実質的にスローアウェイチップ(1)の前記上面(2)及び前記下面(3)に対して直角に形成されていることを特徴とする、スローアウェイチップ。 - 前記鍔(8)が前記周囲ジオメトリ(4)上に周囲を取り巻くように形成されている、請求項1記載のスローアウェイチップ。
- スローアウェイチップ(1)がセラミックからなる、請求項1又は2記載のスローアウェイチップ。
- 前記逃げ面(7a,7b)の長さがスローアウェイチップ(1)の厚さ(10)の半分より短い、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のスローアウェイチップ。
- 前記鍔(8)の前記表面(9)が、スローアウェイチップ(1)の長手方向軸線(12)に関して、前記カッティングエッジ(6)及び前記カッティングコーナ(5)の半径方向の高さと同じ半径方向の高さにあるか、又はより大きい半径方向の高さにある、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のスローアウェイチップ。
- 前記逃げ面(7a,7b)の前記当接領域(11)及び前記鍔(8)の前記表面(9)が、スローアウェイチップ(1)の前記長手方向軸線(12)に関して、同じ半径方向の高さにあるか、又は前記鍔(8)の前記表面(9)の半径方向の高さが、スローアウェイチップ(1)の前記長手方向軸線(12)に関して、前記逃げ面(7a,7b)の前記当接領域(11)の半径方向の高さより大きい、請求項4又は5記載のスローアウェイチップ。
- 前記逃げ面(7a,7b)が周囲研削により形成されている、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のスローアウェイチップ。
- 前記逃げ面(7a,7b)が圧粉体の相応のプレス成形及び引き続いての焼結により形成されている、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載のスローアウェイチップ。
