また、前記色層はPACVDで堆積することができる。

実施例1を繰り返されたが、Ar、Kr、及びN2の流れが、それぞれ250、150、及び70sccmに制御され、且つ各Ti0.5Al0.5のターゲットに3.2kWの陰極出力で23分間の間(TiAl)Nを堆積した。濃い緑色の色が達成され、次の結果、a*=−3、b*=−39、及びL*=29を備えた。
実施例4が、少し後にその全体を繰り返した。再び、濃い緑色が達成され、次の結果、a*=−5、b*=−37、及びL*=31を備えた。
内部に4μm厚みの耐摩耗層TiN+(TiAl)Nを被覆した固体炭化物ドリルは、実施例1にしたがって青色層が被覆された。このドリルは、次の切削資料で、SS2541の色層のないドリルと比較された。
送り=0.15mm/回転
穴の深さ=20mm(止まり穴)
冷却剤=可
標準ドリル 1200個の穴
標準ドリル+青色外側層 1300個の穴
実施例6で使用されたドリルの切刃が研磨された。その後、このドリルは、4μmの(TiAl)Nで再被覆され、且つ実施例6に記載するような同様の切削試験において試験された。

再被覆青色ドリル 1000個の穴
Claims (5)
- 超硬合金、サーメット、セラミック、高速度鋼、工具鋼、または立方晶窒化ボロン或いはダイアモンドのような超硬質材料のボディより成り、且つ薄くて最外層の非酸化物発色層を含んでいる硬質耐摩耗性被膜を有する、インサート、ドリル、エンドミルまたは交換可能な刃先である切削ボディであって、
前記色が、干渉によって作り出され、
前記発色層が、Ti x Al 1−x Nであり、ここで0.1<x<0.9であり、0.05〜0.3μmの厚みを有し、および、
前記層が、−20<a*<0、−40<b*<0及び0<L*<95を有する青色であることを特徴とする切削ボディ。 - 0.4<x<0.7であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切削ボディ。
- 0.4<x<0.6であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切削ボディ。
- 前記層が、0.1〜5μmの厚みであるTiN層の頂部に堆積されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切削ボディ。
- 前記ボディが、固体炭化物ドリル、または固体炭化物エンドミルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切削ボディ。
