Claims (1)
- 透明基板と、
上記透明基板に積層された透明電極および金属電極と、
上記透明電極および上記金属電極の間に介在する複数の有機発光層と、
を備える有機EL表示装置であって、
上記金属電極は、上記有機発光層側に位置し、可視光を透過させることが可能な厚さとされた薄膜金属層と、上記薄膜金属層と導通し、かつ上記薄膜金属層よりも上記有機発光層から離間した厚膜金属層とを含んでおり、
上記薄膜金属層の少なくとも一部と、上記厚膜金属層の少なくとも一部との間には、可視光を吸収する可視光吸収層が介在しているとともに、
上記薄膜金属層と上記厚膜金属層とは、上記透明基板の面内方向において上記複数の有機発光層とは重ならない位置にある2以上の連結部において導通しており、
上記複数の有機発光層を区画する透光性を有する絶縁層を備え、
隣合う上記連結部は、上記複数の有機発光層を挟んで配置されており、
上記可視光吸収層は、上記隣合う連結部の間において、上記複数の有機発光層と上記絶縁層とを超えるように設けられていることを特徴とする、有機EL表示装置。
