表1で一覧されているように、ポリエステルペレットが、表2で表わされたブレンド比にしたがって混合され、ベント式の二つのスクリューを有した押出機を用いて押し出され、そしてサブ層(A)のために濾過された。表1で一覧されたペレットは表2で表わされたブレンド比にしたがって混合され、乾燥され、押し出され、そしてコア層(B)のために濾過された。これらの融解ストリームは、長方形の接合ゾーンに注入されて二つの層の共押出(A)/(B)構造部に積層された。結果物のカーテンは、キャスティングドラム上で急冷され、ローラーストレッチャーを用いて流れ方向(MD方向)に向けられ、その後反対方向に向けられ、そして表3で一覧されている温度でチェーン駆動ストレッチャーを利用して熱セットされ、最後に巻き上げられた。二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムは、表3で示された厚みを有し、好ましい光学的特性、好ましい滑らかな層(A)の表面及び表3に一覧されているインクに対するたいへん良好な接着性を有した。フイルムの生産中に、生産方法の問題は発生せず、途中の中断もなく容易にフイルムを巻きつけ付けることが可能であった。
二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムは、表2のブレンド比と条件にしたがって、実施例1で述べられたのと同様な方法で生産された。そのフイルムは、表3で示された厚みを有し、好ましい光学的特性、好ましい滑らかな層(A)の表面及び表3に一覧されているインクに対するたいへん良好な接着性を有した。表3で示されるように、転移温度丁度下の熱セット温度において、たった2.8℃(5°F)の違いによって光沢度及びヘイズにおいて大きな違いが出て、それらの各々に関して好ましい範囲が存在した。フイルムの生産中に、生産方法の問題は発生せず、途中の中断もなく容易にフイルムを巻きつけ付けることが可能であった。
二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムは、表2のブレンド比と条件にしたがって、実施例1で述べられたのと同様な方法で生産された。そのフイルムは、表3で示された厚みを有し、好ましい光学的特性、好ましい滑らかな層(A)の表面及び表3に一覧されているインクに対する良好な接着性を有した。フイルムの生産中に、生産方法の問題は発生せず、途中の中断もなく容易にフイルムを巻きつけ付けることが可能であった。
二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムは、表2のブレンド比と条件にしたがって、実施例1で述べられたのと同様な方法で生産された。そのフイルムは、表3に一覧されているように、たいへん高いヘイズ値、層(A)の粗い表面及びインクに対する通常の接着性を有した。なぜならば、サブ層(A)のポリマーを融解することに関して、熱セット温度が充分に低くなかったからである。
二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムは、表2に示されるブレンド比と条件にしたがって、実施例1で述べられたのと同様な方法で生産された。フイルムは、表3で一覧されているように、高い光沢値を示した。なぜならば、サブ層(A)のポリマーのあまりにも多くの量を融解することに関して、熱セット温度が高すぎたからである。
二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムは、表2に示されるブレンド比と条件にしたがって、実施例1で述べられたのと同様な方法で生産された。そのフイルムは比較的ヘイズ値と光沢値を有した。フイルムのTLTが低ければ低いほど、インクに対する接着性が悪かった。そして、多くの中断が発生したので、フイルムを容易に巻くことができないという生産方法の問題が発生した。なぜならば、フイルムはPETのみを含み、高い結晶性を有したからである。
Claims (10)
- 0.5から15質量%のタルクを含有する少なくとも一つのサブ層及び、少なくとも一つのコア層を含む二軸配向したポリエステルフイルムであって、
該サブ層が該コア層よりも低い融点温度を有し、該フイルムが、二軸配向に続いて該タルクを含有する該サブ層を部分的にのみ融解する熱処理温度で熱処理され、該フイルムが6から40%のヘイズを有し、該タルクを含有する該サブ層が60°において10から90の光沢度を有し、
さらに、該フイルムがヘイズ転移温度を有し、該フイルムが該ヘイズ転移温度未満で熱処理され、
該サブ層が、少なくとも35質量%のPET/I(ポリエチレンテレフタレート/イソフタレート)を含み、
該フイルムが150nm以下の表面粗さを有する、
ポリエステルフイルム。 - 該フイルムが125nmから150nmの表面粗さを有する、請求項1に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記サブ層がポリエチレンイソフタレートを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記サブ層が少なくとも20質量%のポリエチレンイソフタレートを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記コア層がポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記フイルムが少なくとも85%の全光線透過率を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記コア層がタルクを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記サブ層が含むタルクの割合が前記コア層のタルクの割合に対して大きくなる、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記サブ層に堆積した金属層を更に含む、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
- 前記サブ層に堆積したインク層を更に含む、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエステルフイルム。
