Claims (2)
- 互いに平行な2端面を周方向に突き合わせて筒状にしたワークが軸方向に通過する貫通孔を有する溶接治具と、前記貫通孔内の軸方向における所定の溶接位置に露出して前記ワークの突き合わせ部に対向する溶接具と、を備え、
前記溶接治具は、前記貫通孔を含む範囲で上下に分割された第1の部材及び第2の部材で構成され、
前記第1の部材及び前記第2の部材は、少なくとも一方を他方に対して接近及び離間する方向に移動自在にして互いの間に間隔を設けて配置され、前記第1の部材は前記貫通孔の中心軸を含む第1の水平面を分割面とするとともに、前記第2の部材は前記第1の水平面との間に所定間隔を設けて前記第1の部材から離間した第2の水平面を分割面とし、
前記貫通孔に前記ワークの一部が挿入された後に前記ワークの突き合わせ部が前記溶接位置を通過するまでの間にのみ、前記第1の部材及び前記第2の部材が互いに接近するように付勢する付勢手段をさらに備え、
前記所定間隔は、前記ワークの真円度が許容範囲を超えない長さである管体溶接装置。 - 前記付勢手段は、前記第1の部材又は前記第2の部材のいずれか一方を他方に向けて付勢する圧力を発生する圧力発生手段である請求項1に記載の管体溶接装置。
