Description
フィルタエレメントは、開口のある(開いている)第1フィルタ内部空間を定める外側にある第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物と、開口のある第2フィルタ内部空間を定める内側にある第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物とを含む。前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物は前記第1フィルタ内部空間に配置され、前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物から半径方向に離れて配置されている。前記第2フィルタ内部空間はろ過していない流体の流路を定めている。プラスチック製のインナーライナーは、前記第1フィルタ内部空間にあって前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物を支える。プラスチック製のアウターライナーは、前記第1フィルタ内部空間にあって前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物を支える。ろ過した流体の流路は前記インナーライナーと前記アウターライナーとの間に定められいる。バランス具は前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物と前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物との間に配置されている。
Claims (10)
- フィルタエレメントであって、
(a)前記フィルタエレメントは、開口のある第1フィルタ内部空間を定める外側にある第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物を有し、
(b)前記フィルタエレメントは、開口のある第2フィルタ内部空間を定める内側にある第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物を有し、
(i)前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物は、前記第1フィルタ内部空間に配置され、 (ii)前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物は、前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物から半径方向に離れて配置され、
(iii)前記第2フィルタ内部空間は、ろ過されていない流体流路を定めており、
(c)前記フィルタエレメントは、前記第1フィルタ内部空間にあって前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物を支えるインナーライナーを有し、
(d)前記フィルタエレメントは、前記第1フィルタ内部空間にあって前記第2管状のフィルタ媒体構造物を支えるアウターライナーを有し、
(i)前記インナーライナーと前記アウターライナーとの間にろ過された流体流路が定められており、
(e)前記フィルタエレメントは、前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物と前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物との間のバランス具を有し、
(f)前記フィルタエレメントは、開口のある第1端部キャップを有し、
(g)前記フィルタエレメントは、開口のある第2端部キャップを有し、
(i)前記第1管状フィルタ媒体構造物は、前記第1端部キャップと前記第2端部キャップとの間で伸びており、
(h)前記フィルタエレメントは、開口のない第3端部キャップを有し、
(i)前記第2管状フィルタ媒体構造物は、前記第2端部キャップと前記第3端部キャップとの間で伸びており、
(ii)前記第3端部キャップは、前記第1端部キャップから軸方向に離れて配置されており、
(iii)前記バランス具は、前記第1端部キャップと前記第3端部キャップとの間で伸びている複数のガセットを含むことを特徴とするフィルタエレメント。 - (a)前記開口のある第2端部キャップは、前記ろ過されていない流体流路と連結する入口開口を定めることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- (a)前記開口のある第1端部キャップは、前記ろ過された流体流路と連結する出口開口を定めることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- (a)前記アウターライナーは2.54mm(0.1インチ)未満の厚さを有し、
(b)前記インナーライナーは2.54mm(0.1インチ)未満の厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタエレメント。 - フィルタアセンブリであって、
請求項1乃至請求項4のうちのいずれか1項に記載のフィルタエレメントを有し、
前記フィルタアセンブリは、
(a)内部空間を定めるハウジングを有し、
(i)前記フィルタエレメントが前記ハウジングの内部空間に操作可能に配置されている、ことを特徴とするフィルタアセンブリ。 - (a)前記フィルタエレメントは前記ハウジングの内部にあって取り外し可能でありかつ交換可能であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフィルタアセンブリ。
- 請求項1乃至請求項4のうちのいずれか1項に記載のフィルタエレメントを使用するろ過方法であって、
前記方法は、
(a)ろ過されていない流体が第1管状媒体構造物を通過してろ過された流体流路に入るように方向づける第1方向付工程と、
(b)ろ過されていない流体が前記第1管状媒体構造物を取り囲みかつ半径方向に離れて配置されている第2管状媒体構造物を通過して前記ろ過された流体流路に入るように方向づける第2方向付工程と、
(c)前記第1管状媒体構造物と前記第2管状媒体構造物とを、前記第1管状媒体構造物と前記第2管状媒体構造物との間でバランス具で支える支持工程と、を有することを特徴とするろ過方法。 - (a)前記ろ過されていない流体が前記第2管状媒体構造物を通過して前記ろ過された流体流路に入るように方向づける前記第2方向付工程は、前記ろ過されていない流体が前記第2端部キャップの開口を通ってろ過されていない流体流路に入り、前記第2管状媒体構造物を通って前記ろ過された流体流路に入ることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のろ過方法。
- (a)流体を、前記ろ過された流体流路から前記第1端部キャップ中の開口を通過するように方向付ける工程を更に有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のろ過方法。
- フィルタエレメントの組立方法であって、
前記組立方法は、
(a)第1フィルタ媒体を選択し、前記第1フィルタ媒体からインナーライナを持つ第1管状構造物を形成する工程と、
(b)第2フィルタ媒体を選択し、前記第2フィルタ媒体からアウターライナを持つ第2管状構造物を形成する工程と、
(c)前記第1管状構造物中に前記第2管状構造物を操作可能に配置しかつ前記第1フィルタ媒体を前記第2フィルタ媒体から半径方向に離して配置する工程と、を有し、前記配置する工程は、
(i)開口のある第1端部キャップと開口のある第2端部キャップとの間に前記第1管状構造物を固定する工程と、
(ii)前記第1管状構造物と前記第2管状構造物を前記第2端部キャップに固定する工程と、
(iii)前記第2管状構造物を前記第1管状構造物から軸方向に離して配置されている、開口のない第3管状構造物に固定する工程と、を有し、
(d)前記第1管状構造物と前記第2管状構造物との間にバランス具を提供する提供工程と、
を有することを特徴とするフィルタエレメントの組立方法。
