Claims (16)
- ポリマー生物材料合成物をペレットに加工する方法であって、
ポリマー生物材料合成物のストランドをダイプレート(18)に通して、水中造粒機(12、102)に押し出す工程、
前記造粒機内で前記合成物ストランドをペレットに切断する工程、
前記造粒機から前記合成物ペレットを水およびペレットのスラリーとして輸送する工程、
および前記合成物ペレットを乾燥する工程からなる方法において、
前記合成物ペレットを輸送する工程は、前記水およびペレットのスラリーに高速不活性ガスを注入し、前記水を前記ペレットから吸引させ、前記ペレットに内部熱を保有させ、前記ペレットによる水分の吸い上げを減少し、前記ペレットの輸送および乾燥を促進することからなり、
前記ペレットの乾燥工程は、1%以下の水分レベルを達成することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ペレットは、前記高速不活性ガスを前記水およびペレットのスラリーに注入した後、乾燥機(32、108)に輸送することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記乾燥機を出る前記ペレットは、振動装置(84)により運動を維持し、その間に前記ペレットを乾燥し続けることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記高速不活性ガスを水およびペレットのスラリーに注入する工程は、前記乾燥機に進入し、および通過するペレットの速度を増加させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ガスを前記水およびペレットのスラリーに少なくとも100m3/hrの流量で注入することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スラリーの移動線にほぼ一致させて、前記ガスを前記水およびペレットのスラリーに注入することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スラリーの移動線は30°と60°の間の角度で曲がり、前記ガスは前記曲がりに注入することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記移動線における前記ペレットの滞留時間は、前記空気注入の下流側でボール弁(150)により、調整することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー生物材料合成物は膨張又は発泡剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー生物材料は、5%から95%のポリマーと、10%から90%の生物材料とを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記生物材料は、セルロースおよび澱粉を含む多糖類、ポリペプチドを含むタンパク質材料、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記生物材料は、アスペクト比が1から50で、10から900ミクロンの繊維状粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記生物材料は15から425ミクロンの粒子サイズを有する粉末を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、ポリオレフィン、置換ポリオレフィン、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリウレタンおよびポリカーボネートからなる群から選択することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー生物材料合成物はポリマーと生物材料の間のより大きな融和性を与える1または複数の薬品を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリマー生物材料合成物をペレットに加工する方法であって、
ポリマー生物材料合成物のストランドをダイプレート(18)に通して、水中造粒機(12、102)に押し出す工程、
前記造粒機内で前記合成物ストランドをペレットに切断する工程、
前記造粒機から前記合成物ペレットを水およびペレットのスラリーとして輸送する工程、
および前記合成物ペレットを乾燥する工程からなる方法において、
前記合成物ペレットを輸送する工程は、前記水およびペレットのスラリーに高速不活性ガスを注入し、前記水を前記ペレットから吸引させ、前記ペレットに内部熱を保有させ、前記ペレットによる水分の吸い上げを減少し、前記ペレットの輸送および乾燥を促進することからなり、
前記ポリマー生物材料合成物のストランドを押し出す工程は、5%から95%のポリマーと10%から90%の生物材料とを有する前記ポリマー生物材料を選択することを特徴とする方法。
