Description

The present invention relates to a vehicular lamp. Specifically, the bracket for attaching the lamp housing to the vehicle body is made up of two members to reduce damage by mitigating the impact on the pedestrian at the time of collision with the pedestrian of the vehicle and to ensure safety when the vehicle is running This is related to the technical field.

Some vehicular lamps include a light source disposed inside a lamp outer casing formed by a cover and a lamp housing.

Such vehicular lamps may be mounted on a mounting portion of a vehicle body by a bracket provided integrally with the lamp housing or a bracket mounted as a separate part on the lamp housing (see, for example, Patent Document 1). ).

In the vehicular lamp described in Patent Document 1, a groove extending in the vertical direction is formed in the vicinity of a mounting protrusion of a bracket attached to a vehicle body, and the groove functions as a fragile portion. Since the bracket has the fragile portion, when the vehicle collides with the pedestrian, the fragile portion is broken or bent, and the vehicle lamp is displaced rearward or downward, thereby reducing damage to the pedestrian.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-233121

However, in the conventional vehicle lamp described in Patent Document 1, since the groove is formed in the bracket so as to function as the weak part, the rigidity of the weak part is always low, and the vehicle is running. There is a possibility that the fragile portion may be broken or bent by vibration or impact. If the fragile portion breaks or bends during traveling of the vehicle, the vehicular lamp is displaced during traveling of the vehicle, which hinders the safety of traveling.

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicular lamp that reduces damage caused by mitigating impact on a pedestrian when the vehicle collides with a pedestrian and ensures safety when the vehicle is traveling.

In order to solve the above-described problem, a vehicular lamp includes a lamp housing and a cover that closes a front opening of the lamp housing, and a bracket connected to the lamp housing is attached to a mounting portion of a vehicle body. A first member having a fitting recess connected to the lamp housing and opened at least upward or downward, together with the first member in a state of being fitted in the fitting recess of the first member A second member attached to the attachment portion of the vehicle body, the first member and the second member are respectively provided with contact surfaces facing upward or downward, and the first member and the second member the second member is to be mounted to the mounting portion of the vehicle body in a state in which the abutment faces in contact, the coupling projection provided on the second member, said coupling projections inserted into said first member It is obtained by forming a bond recess and coupled to.

Therefore, in the vehicular lamp, a certain level of vibration resistance during traveling of the vehicle is ensured, and impact resistance during vehicle collision is reduced.

The vehicular lamp according to the present invention is a vehicular lamp that includes a lamp housing and a cover that closes a front opening of the lamp housing, and a bracket connected to the lamp housing is attached to a mounting portion of a vehicle body. A first member having a fitting recess connected to the lamp housing and opened at least upward or downward, and the first member together with the first member in a state of being fitted in the fitting recess of the first member. A first member and a second member attached to a mounting portion of the vehicle body, the first member and the second member are respectively provided with contact surfaces facing upward or downward, and the first member and the second member members to be attached to the mounting portion of the vehicle body in a state in which the abutment faces in contact, a coupling protrusion provided on said second member, said coupling projection is inserted into said first member To the formation of the binding recess that is coupled to said.

Therefore, it is possible to reduce damage due to the reduction of the impact on the pedestrian at the time of collision with the pedestrian of the vehicle and to ensure safety when the vehicle is running. Further, the first member and the second member can be easily positioned.

In the invention described in claim 2, since the first member and the second member are fastened together with the vehicle body by the mounting screw, safety during vehicle traveling is further improved.

In the invention described in claim 3, since a gap is formed between the coupling protrusion and the coupling recess, the bracket is attached in accordance with an impact at the time of traveling of the vehicle or collision with a pedestrian of the vehicle. The required strength can be set.

The best mode for carrying out the vehicular lamp of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The vehicular lamps 1 and 1 are, for example, vehicular headlamps, and are respectively attached to the left and right end portions of the front end portion of the vehicle body.

As shown in FIG. 1, the vehicular lamp 1 includes a lamp housing 2 having a recess opened forward, and a cover 3 that closes the opening surface of the lamp housing 2. A housing 4 is configured. An internal space of the lamp outer casing 4 is formed as a lamp chamber 5.

The lamp housing 2 has an upper plane portion 2a positioned above and a lower plane portion 2b positioned below, and the upper plane portion 2a and the lower plane portion 2b are formed so as to face substantially in the vertical direction. . A mounting opening 2c penetrating in the front-rear direction is formed at the rear end of the lamp housing 2.

A lamp unit 6 is disposed in the lamp chamber 5.

The lamp unit 6 includes a reflector 7 that is tiltably supported by a lamp housing 2 via a support mechanism (not shown), a light source 8 that is attached to the rear end of the reflector 7, and a light source 8 that emits light from the light source 8. It has a shade 9 that partially shields it. Light emitted from the light source 8 and not shielded by the shade 9 is reflected by the inner surface of the reflector 7, is transmitted through the cover 3, and is irradiated forward.

A back cover 10 is attached to the lamp housing 2 with the attachment opening 2c closed. The back cover 10 supports the rear end portion of the light source 8.

The lamp housing 2 is attached to attachment parts 101 and 101 of the vehicle body 100 by brackets 11 and 11. The brackets 11 and 11 are connected to the upper plane portion 2a and the lower plane portion 2b of the lamp housing 2, respectively.

The bracket 11 is configured by combining a first member 12 and a second member 13. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the bracket 11 includes a connecting portion 11a connected to the lamp housing 2, a mounted portion 11b attached to the mounting portion 101 of the vehicle body 100, a connecting portion 11a, and a mounted portion 11b. The connecting portion 11a and the attached portion 11b are formed in a flat plate shape facing substantially the vertical direction, and the intermediate portion 11c is inclined with respect to the connecting portion 11a and the attached portion 11b. It is formed in a flat plate shape.

The first member 12 is formed with a fitting recess 12a in a portion corresponding to the attached portion 11b (see FIGS. 3 and 4). The fitting recess 12a of the first member 12 is opened upward, laterally, and rearward, for example.

In the first member 12, a contact surface 12b facing upward is formed in a portion excluding the front end portion of the fitting recess 12a, and a coupling recess 14 is formed in a front portion continuous with the contact surface 12b. The coupling recess 14 extends in the left-right direction, is formed in a curved surface, for example, and is open upward and laterally. A screw insertion hole 12c penetrating in the vertical direction is formed in a portion where the contact surface 12b of the first member 12 is formed.

The lower portion of the coupling recess 14 in the portion corresponding to the attached portion 11b of the first member 12 is provided as a fragile portion 15 having a thickness smaller than that of the other portion.

The second member 13 is formed in a shape that fits into the fitting recess 12 a formed in the first member 12. The second member 13 includes a base portion 16 formed in a flat plate shape facing in the vertical direction, and a coupling protrusion 17 protruding downward from the front end portion of the base portion 16.

The lower surface of the base portion 16 is formed as a contact surface 16a. The base portion 16 is formed with a screw insertion hole 16b penetrating vertically.

The coupling protrusion 17 is formed in a substantially semi-cylindrical shape extending left and right.

The second member 13 is coupled to the first member 12 by being fitted into the fitting recess 12a. In the state where the first member 12 and the second member 13 are coupled, as shown in FIG. 4, the contact surface 12b of the first member 12 and the contact surface 16a of the second member 13 are in contact with each other. The coupling protrusion 17 is fitted into the coupling recess 14, and the screw insertion hole 16 b is positioned directly below the screw insertion hole 12 c.

In a state where the first member 12 and the second member 13 are coupled to form the bracket 11, the bracket 11 is attached to the attachment portion 101 of the vehicle body 100 by the attachment screw 200 inserted through the screw insertion hole 12 c and the screw insertion hole 16 b. (See FIG. 1).

While the vehicle is running, a load is applied to the brackets 11 and 11 by vibration and impact. The brackets 11 and 11 are joined to the first members 12 and 12 and the second members 13 and 13, respectively, and have a predetermined thickness. Since a certain rigidity is ensured, the brackets 11 and 11 are not broken or bent due to vibration or impact when the vehicle is running.

However, if the vehicle collides with a pedestrian, a certain load or more is applied to the vehicular lamp 1 due to the impact at the time of the collision, and the first members 12, 12 are applied to the brackets 11, 11 as shown in FIG. A large force F is applied in a direction in which the coupling recesses 14 and 14 are separated from the coupling protrusions 17 and 17 of the second members 13 and 13. Therefore, the weak parts 15 and 15 of the first members 12 and 12 are broken or bent, and the vehicular lamp 1 is displaced downward to reduce damage to the pedestrian.

As described above, in the vehicular lamp 1, the brackets 11, 11 are constituted by the first members 12, 12 and the second members 13, 13, respectively. It is possible to reduce damage by mitigating the impact on pedestrians and to ensure safety when the vehicle is running.

Also, the bracket 11 has a coupling recess 14 formed in the first member 12, a coupling projection 17 is provided in the second member 13, and the coupling projection 17 is fitted in the coupling recess 14, so that the first member 12 and Since the 2nd member 13 is couple | bonded, the positioning of the 2nd member 13 with respect to the 1st member 12 can be performed easily.

When the first member 12 and the second member 13 are coupled, the contact surface 12b and the contact surface 16a can be bonded. By bonding the contact surface 12b and the contact surface 16a, the first member 12 and the second member 13 can be prevented from peeling off.

In the above example, the coupling recess 14 and the coupling protrusion 17 are formed in a curved shape. However, for example, the coupling protrusion is formed to have a V-shaped cross section, and the coupling recess is coupled to the coupling protrusion. You may form so that it may become a V-shaped groove | channel where a part fits, and the shape of a coupling | bonding recessed part and a coupling | bonding protrusion is arbitrary if both are fitted.

In a state where the first member 12 and the second member 13 are coupled, a slight gap 18 may be formed between the coupling recess 14 and the coupling protrusion 17 as shown in FIG. By forming the gap 18 and adjusting the size of the gap 18, it is possible to adjust the strength of the bracket 11, and the bracket 11 according to the impact at the time of traveling of the vehicle or collision with the pedestrian of the vehicle. Can be set to the required strength.

In the above, an example in which the bracket 11 is a separate member from the lamp housing 2 is shown, but the bracket 11 may be formed integrally with the lamp housing 2.

Moreover, although the example which provided the two brackets 11 and 11 was shown above, the number of the brackets 11 is not restricted to two, and is arbitrary.

The shapes and structures of the respective parts shown in the best mode for carrying out the invention described above are merely examples of the embodiments performed in practicing the present invention. The range should not be interpreted in a limited way.
