Description
Claims (5)
- 流動可能な溶融金属が貯蔵され、前記溶融金属上で溶融ガラスが流動するフロート槽(float bath)を有するフロートガラスの製造装置であって、
前記フロート槽の下流端の壁面に衝突する前記溶融金属及び溶融金属上で浮遊するドロスを排出するように前記壁面の中央に貫設された排出口と、
前記排出口と前記フロート槽の両側を連通するように前記壁面内に設けられた一対のサイド流路と、を備えることを特徴とするフロートガラスの製造装置。 - 前記サイド流路を流れる前記溶融金属を加熱するために当該サイド流路に配置された加熱部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロートガラスの製造装置。
- 前記加熱部はヒーターを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフロートガラスの製造装置。
- 前記溶融金属に対して移動磁界を印加することで、前記排出口及び前記サイド流路内で前記溶融金属及び前記ドロスの還流を発生させる循環部材をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロートガラスの製造装置。
- 前記循環部材はリニアモーターを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフロートガラスの製造装置。
