Description
排気浄化装置にマフラを備えた先行技術文献としては特許文献1がある。
前記消音構造体は、前記ケーシングの内部をガス流れ方向上流側の分散チャンバと下流側の分散チャンバに分ける分散板と、外部からガス流れ方向上流側の分散チャンバ内に挿入されると共に、当該分散チャンバに挿入された部分の周部にはガス流れ方向上流側から下流側へ行くに従い順次径が小径となるようにした複数の孔が穿設され、且つ先端が前記分散板に固設されたインナパイプを備え、
前記分散板には、前記分散板に固設された前記インナパイプの外周よりも当該インナパイプ径方向外径側に位置するよう、前記分散板の径方向外周側が大径で中心側が小径の複数の孔が穿設されており、
前記分散板の、インナパイプ内及びガス流れ方向下流側の分散チャンバに面した部分には、前記上流側の分散チャンバ及び下流側の分散チャンバに面する箇所に穿設した孔のうち、最も分散板の径方向中心側に位置する孔よりも小径で且つ同一径の複数の孔が穿設されているものである。
図1及び図2は本発明を実施する形態の一例であって、基本的構成は図3に示すものと同じである。又図中、図4、図5に示すものと同一のものには同一の符号が付してある。
エンジンから排出されて消音構造体2のインナパイプ8に導入された排気ガスの一部は、孔9a、9b、9c、9dから分散チャンバ7a内に流出し、分散チャンバ7aから分散板6の孔D14、D15、D16を経て分散チャンバ7bに流出し、残りの排気は、インナパイプ8内から分散板6の孔17を経て分散チャンバ7bに流出する。これにより、排気ガスの流れの消音が行なわれる。

Claims (1)
- 消音構造体と、該消音構造体のガス流れ方向下流側に配置された触媒と、該触媒のガス流れ方向下流側に配置されたパティキュレートフィルタとがケーシング内に収納された排気浄化装置において、
前記消音構造体は、前記ケーシングの内部をガス流れ方向上流側の分散チャンバと下流側の分散チャンバに分ける分散板と、外部からガス流れ方向上流側の分散チャンバ内に挿入されると共に、当該分散チャンバに挿入された部分の周部にはガス流れ方向上流側から下流側へ行くに従い順次径が小径となるようにした複数の孔が穿設され、且つ先端が前記分散板に固設されたインナパイプを備え、
前記分散板には、前記分散板に固設された前記インナパイプの外周よりも当該インナパイプ径方向外径側に位置するよう、前記分散板の径方向外周側が大径で中心側が小径の複数の孔が穿設されており、
前記分散板の、インナパイプ内及びガス流れ方向下流側の分散チャンバに面した部分には、前記上流側の分散チャンバ及び下流側の分散チャンバに面する箇所に穿設した孔のうち、最も分散板の径方向中心側に位置する孔よりも小径で且つ同一径の複数の孔が穿設されていることを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
