Claims (5)
- 冷凍室内に設けられ、且つ、人体等から採取される生体組織又は生体細胞である試料と、該試料が含有する水分を過冷却状態とするようなマイクロ波を前記試料に照射可能なマイクロ波照射手段と、前記試料の温度を検知する温度センサと、該温度センサにて検知した温度に基づいて前記マイクロ波照射手段にて照射されるマイクロ波を可変してなるマイクロ波生成手段とを有してなる凍結装置と、
前記冷凍室内に設けられ、且つ、前記凍結装置を用いて凍結させた試料を薄切可能な薄切装置とを有し、
前記マイクロ波生成手段は、前記試料が含有する水分が過冷却状態となった後、当該水の体積の膨張を防ぐため、前記マイクロ波照射手段にて照射されるマイクロ波を停止させるか、又は、前記試料が含有する水分子の配列が不規則とならないような微弱なマイクロ波を前記マイクロ波照射手段にて照射させてなることを特徴とする凍結薄切片作製装置。 - 冷凍室内に設けられ、且つ、人体等から採取される生体組織又は生体細胞である複数の試料と、該各試料が含有する水分を過冷却状態とするようなマイクロ波を前記各試料に夫々照射可能なマイクロ波照射手段と、前記各試料の温度を夫々検知する温度センサと、該各温度センサにて検知した温度に基づいて前記各マイクロ波照射手段にて照射されるマイクロ波を夫々可変してなるマイクロ波生成手段とを有してなる凍結装置と、
前記冷凍室内に設けられ、且つ、前記凍結装置を用いて凍結させた複数の試料を薄切可能な薄切装置とを有し、
前記マイクロ波生成手段は、前記各試料が含有する水分が過冷却状態となった後、当該水の体積の膨張を防ぐため、前記マイクロ波照射手段にて照射されるマイクロ波を夫々停止させるか、又は、前記各試料が含有する水分子の配列が不規則とならないような微弱なマイクロ波を夫々前記マイクロ波照射手段にて照射させてなることを特徴とする凍結薄切片作製装置。 - 前記凍結装置は、さらに、前記マイクロ波生成手段にて出力されるマイクロ波を受信し、その受信したマイクロ波を前記マイクロ波照射手段に出力すると共に、該マイクロ波照射手段にて前記試料に照射したマイクロ波の反射波を受信することで電圧定在波比を計測する電力モニタ手段を有し、
前記マイクロ波生成手段は、前記電力モニタ手段にて計測した電圧定在波比及び前記温度センサにて検知した温度に基づいて前記マイクロ波照射手段にて照射されるマイクロ波を可変してなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の凍結薄切片作製装置。 - 前記試料が含有する水分の過冷却状態を解除するように前記試料に前記マイクロ波照射手段を用いてマイクロ波を照射し、該マイクロ波の反射波を前記電力モニタ手段にて受信し、その受信した反射波を計測することで、前記試料の凍結状態を確認可能であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の凍結薄切片作製装置。
- 前記凍結装置は、さらに前記試料の凍結を検知する凍結センサを有してなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の凍結薄切片作製装置。
