Description
還元処理剤に対する加水分解セリシンの含有量は1〜70重量%であることが好ましい。
また、セリシンは親水性アミノ酸を多く含み、毛髪タンパクと強固で安定な水素結合を形成することができ、毛髪の太さを増大せしめる効果が高く、また、効果の持続性に優れるために好ましい。
本発明における毛髪の太さを増大する方法としては、還元処理剤を毛髪に塗布し所定時間放置後、酸化処理剤を塗布し所定時間放置する。その後、十分に水洗する方法が例示できる。
以下、実施例によって本発明を具体的に説明するが、これらは本発明の範囲を限定するものではない。
家蚕(Bombyx mori)が生産した繭糸を十分に洗浄した後、繭糸100gを、抽出溶媒として0.2%炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液2L中において、96℃の条件下において2時間加熱処理を施して加水分解し、セリシン加水分解物を抽出した。得られたセリシン加水分解物の抽出液を平均孔径0.2μmのフィルターを用いて濾過し、凝集物を除去した後、濾液を逆浸透膜により脱塩し、濃度0.2%の無色透明のセリシン水溶液を得た。
表1に示した比較例、実施例1〜3の還元処理剤、および表2に示した酸化処理剤を調製した。表1中のケラチンは、羊毛ケラチンタンパク質の加水分解物(平均分子量1,000、株式会社成和化成製)を用いた。
表1に記した比較例、実施例1〜3の還元処理剤を毛髪(毛束)に塗布して45℃で5分間静置した後、表2に示す酸化処理剤を塗布して45℃で5分間静置した。精製水で洗浄した後、ドライヤーで乾燥させた。
次に、前記毛髪増大処理後の毛髪の太さおよび重量を調べた。毛髪の太さはマイクロスコープを用いて、室温25℃、湿度55%の条件下で毛髪50本の直径を測定し、平均値を求めた。さらに、毛髪の太さから断面積を算出して、未処理毛に対する増大率を求めた。
比較例および実施例3の処理剤を用いた処理を3回繰り返し、増大効果を調べた。表5に示すように、実施例3の薬剤で繰り返し処理することにより、毛髪をさらに増大させることができた。
実施例3で1回処理した毛髪を用い、シャンプー後の増大効果を確認した。図1に示すように、シャンプー5回後も増大効果は維持されていた。
表7に示した比較例2及び実施例4の還元処理剤を調製した。表7中のケラチンは、羊毛ケラチンタンパク質の加水分解物(平均分子量1,000、株式会社成和化成製)を用いた。
表7に記した比較例2、実施例4の還元処理剤を40℃に加温してヒトの頭髪に塗布して、10分間静置した。その後、表2に示す酸化処理剤を40℃に加温して、頭髪に塗布して10分間静置した。精製水で洗浄した後、ドライヤーで乾燥させた。
次に、前記毛髪増大処理後の毛髪の太さを調べた。毛髪の太さはマイクロスコープを用いて、室温25℃、湿度55%の条件下で毛髪20本の直径を測定し、平均値を求めた。さらに、毛髪の太さから断面積を算出して、未処理毛に対する増大率を求めた。
さらに、本発明の還元処理剤および酸化処理剤の配合例を以下に示すが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。
Claims (3)
- 1回の処理で毛髪の太さを5%以上太くする毛髪の太さ増大剤であって、平均分子量が5,000〜30,000である加水分解セリシンを含有する還元処理剤と酸化処理剤との二剤の組合せからなることを特徴とする毛髪の太さ増大剤。
- 還元処理剤に対する加水分解セリシンの含有量が1〜70重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の毛髪の太さ増大剤。
- 1回の処理で毛髪の太さを5%以上太くする毛髪の太さを増大する方法であって、平均分子量が5,000〜30,000である加水分解セリシンを含有する還元処理剤を毛髪に塗布した後に、酸化処理剤を塗布することを特徴とする毛髪の太さを増大する方法。
