Description
以下、参考例を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は、ガスセンサ2の劣化検出装置を組み込んだガス検出装置の参考例を示す回路図である。図2は、参考例における図1に示す検出素子6及び比較素子7の構成を示す図である。同図に示すように、ガス検出装置1は、ガスセンサ2と、マイクロコンピュータ3(以下μCOM3)と、を備えている。
次に、本発明の一実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図6は、一実施形態における図1に示す検出素子6及び比較素子7の構成を示す図である。参考例と本実施形態とで大きく異なる点は、検出素子6及び比較素子7の構造である。なお、本実施形態におけるガス検出装置1の回路図は、図1について既に説明した参考例と同様であるため、ここでは詳細な説明は省略する。

Claims (2)
- 可燃ガスとの接触燃焼を促進する触媒を担持した担持体、及び、前記担持体に覆われた温度センサ、から構成される検出素子と、前記可燃ガスに対して不感となる材料から構成される担持体、及び、前記担持体に覆われた温度センサ、から構成される比較素子と、前記検出素子及び前記比較素子から構成された前記可燃ガスの濃度に応じたセンサ出力を出力するガスセンサと、エアベース時における前記センサ出力と固定された閾値との比較に基づいて前記ガスセンサの劣化を検出する劣化検出手段と、を備えたガスセンサの劣化検出装置であって、前記検出素子の担持体と前記比較素子の担持体との表面積が互いに異なるように、前記検出素子及び前記比較素子が設けられていることを特徴とするガスセンサの劣化検出装置。
- 前記検出素子の担持体と前記比較素子の担持体とが、互いに比表面積の異なる材料で設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスセンサの劣化検出装置。
