Description

エンジン動作および性能を制御するためのデータを与える、酸素センサのような自動車の用途に用いられるセンサは、車両のエンジン室内にしばしば搭載される。エンジン室においてそれらは、車両動作中、強烈な放射熱、摩耗の要因および継続的な振動を含む過酷な環境に晒される。この過酷な環境を考慮すると、振動を減衰し、摩耗から保護し、かつ放射熱を反射することができる保護スリービング(sleeving)によって比較的繊細なセンサを覆うことが有利である。そのようなスリーブは、たとえばポリエステルフェルトなどの不織布材料の内部減衰層を有する細長い管をしばしば含む。内部減衰層は、たとえば、ポリエステル繊維のスクリムまたはポリマーシート材のような補強層によって作られたアルミ箔層を含む反射層によって囲まれる。

Claims (10)
- 位置決め装置と細長部材との組合わせであって、前記位置決め装置は保護スリーブを前記細長部材に沿った予め定められた位置に維持するためのものであり、前記細長部材は前記保護スリーブを貫く穴部内に位置決め可能な管状の保護ハーネスであり、前記位置決め装置は、
中央空間を囲むバンド部と、
前記バンド部に取付けられた第1の端部と前記中央空間の内側に向かって半径方向に延在する第2の端部とを有する複数の柔軟で弾力性のある突出部材とを備え、前記第2の端部の少なくとも1つは、前記中央空間内に受け入れられる前記細長部材と係合可能であり、前記バンド部および前記複数の突出部材は、前記細長部材の長さ方向の軸に沿う前記複数の突出部材と前記細長部材との間の抵抗を克服するのに十分な力が前記バンド部に加えられることにより、前記細長部材に沿って前記予め定められた位置に滑らせて移動可能であり、前記第2の端部の少なくとも1つは、前記細長部材を強固に係合し、前記力が加えられていないときに前記バンド部を前記予め定められた位置にて保持し、かつ、前記細長部材に沿った前記予め定められた位置に前記スリーブを維持し、
前記細長部材は、環状の溝部によって軸方向において一定の間隔で配置された複数の環状の波状突起部を備え、前記第2の端部の少なくとも1つは、前記バンド部と前記スリーブとを前記予め定められた位置に維持するために、隣り合う波状突起部の間にある前記環状の溝部の一つに受入れられ、前記突出部材は、弾力的に柔軟であり、前記位置決め装置を前記細長部材の長さ方向に移動させるために、前記長さ方向の軸に沿った前記バンド部への力が加えられることにより前記波状突起部上を通過する、

- 前記位置決め装置は、1対の前記細長部材を受入れるための1対の分離された開口部の少なくとも一部を形作るために分離された軸に向かって延在する少なくとも1対の突出部材を有する、請求項1に記載の組合わせ。
- 前記位置決め装置は、前記軸の一方に向かって延在する複数の突出部材と、前記軸の他方に向かって延在する複数の突出部材とをさらに備える、請求項6に記載の組合わせ。
- 配線用ハーネスと接続されたセンサを保護するための組立品であって、前記組立品は、
前記センサに受入れられるための穴部を有する保護シールドと、
隣接の前記センサから前記保護シールドの前記穴部を通って延在する、伸長されたハーネススリーブと、前記ハーネススリーブは、前記配線用ハーネスの少なくとも一部を囲み、
前記センサを保護するために前記ハーネススリーブに沿った予め定められた位置に前記保護シールドを維持するための位置決め装置とを備え、前記位置決め装置は、中央空間を囲む伸長されたバンド部と、前記バンド部に取付けられた第1の端部と前記中央空間の内側に向かって半径方向に延在する第2の端部とを有する複数の柔軟で弾力性のある突出部材とを含み、前記第2の端部の少なくとも1つは、前記中央空間内に受け入れられる前記ハーネススリーブと係合可能であり、前記バンド部および前記複数の突出部材は、前記ハーネススリーブに沿って完全な軸方向に向けられた力が加えられることにより、前記予め定められた位置に滑らせて移動可能であり、前記第2の端部の少なくとも1つは、前記力の除去によって前記ハーネススリーブを強固に係合し、前記バンド部および前記保護シールドを前記予め定められた位置にて維持し、
前記突出部材のうちの隣接する突出部材は異なる長さを有する、組立品。 - 外側にハーネススリーブを有する伸長された配線用ハーネスの一端と接続された装置を保護する方法であって、
中央空間を有する環状のバンド部と、前記バンド部に取り付けられた第1の端部、および、前記中央空間の内側に向かって半径方向に延在する第2の端部を有する複数の柔軟で弾力性のある突出部材とを設けることと、
管状の保護シールドを設けることと、
前記装置に保護を与えるために、前記装置を少なくとも部分的に囲む保護位置に前記保護シールドを位置決めすることと、
前記バンド部の前記中央空間に前記ハーネススリーブを配置することと、
前記保護位置に前記保護シールドを取り外し可能に維持するために、前記バンド部を前記ハーネススリーブに沿って前記保護シールドとともに滑らせることとを備え、前記滑らせることによって、軸方向に前記バンド部へかけられた力が加えられると、前記複数の突出部材における少なくとも1つの前記第2の端部を前記ハーネススリーブと柔軟に係合させ、前記力が加えられていない場合は、前記複数の突出部材における前記第2の端部の少なくとも一つは、前記ハーネススリーブと係合状態のままとなり、前記保護位置に前記保護シールドを維持し、
前記突出部材のうちの隣接する突出部材は異なる長さを有する、方法。 - 前記ハーネススリーブに、環状の溝部によって互いから軸方向において一定の間隔で配置された複数の環状の波状突起部を与えることをさらに備え、前記第2の端部の前記少なくとも1つは、前記力の除去により前記バンド部と前記保護シールドとを前記予め定められた位置に維持するために、隣り合う波状突起部の間にある前記環状の溝部の一つに受入れられる、請求項9に記載の方法。
