Description
Claims (13)
- 磁性粒子を分離する方法において、
前記磁性粒子が、磁化し易い粒子方向を有し、
−前記磁化し易い粒子方向が、第1の磁場の磁場ベクトルに平行に指向されるよう、前記第1の磁場に対して前記磁性粒子を従属させるステップと、
−前記第1の磁場の前記磁場ベクトルに対して所定の角度回転された方向を持つ第2の磁場に対して、前記磁性粒子を従属させるステップと、
−前記磁性粒子に分離力を適用するステップとを有する、方法。 - 前記第2の磁場が、前記磁性粒子に前記分離力を適用するため傾斜磁場を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁性粒子における前記分離力が、傾斜磁場を有する第3の磁場により適用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁性粒子が、磁化の異方性の前記強度に基づき分離される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁性粒子が、モノラルドメイン磁性粒子である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の磁場が、均一磁場である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の磁場及び前記第2の磁場が、均一磁場である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の磁場又は前記第3の磁場が、単一のワイヤを流れる電流により生み出される前記磁場として与えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の磁場が起動されるとき、前記第1の磁場が停止され、逆もまた成立する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の磁場の起動及び停止の周波数が、約1kHzから約100MHzの範囲、好ましくは約200kHzから約5MHzの範囲に含まれる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 磁性粒子を分離する装置であって、前記磁性粒子を有する流体を含む流体導孔と、第1の磁場を生成する第1の磁場生成手段と、第2の磁場を生成する第2の磁場生成手段とを有し、前記磁性粒子が、磁化し易い粒子方向を有し、前記磁化し易い粒子方向が、前記第1の磁場の磁場ベクトルに平行に指向され、前記第2の磁場が、前記第1の磁場の前記磁場ベクトルに対して所定の角度回転された方向を持つよう与えられる、装置。
- 請求項1に記載の方法により分離される磁性粒子であって、磁化の異方性の所定の強度が、約1mTから約10mTの範囲にある磁性粒子であって、前記磁化の異方性の前記強度の標準偏差が、1mTより小さく、好ましくは0.5mTより小さく、最も好ましくは、0.25mTより小さい、磁性粒子。
- 磁性粒子イメージングのための、請求項12に記載される磁性粒子の使用。
