図1は本発明電池の斜視図であり、図2は本発明電池の要部拡大断面図であり、図3は本発明電池の要部解体斜視図であり、図4は本発明電池の端子固定部分を示す断面図である。

転を開始するのに必要なトルクを調べた。これとともに、図7に示すように挿入部1aの電池高さ方向に垂直な断面形状が真円形状のもの(比較例)を試作し、これについても同様に試験を行った。この結果は、表1のとおりであり、本発明電池は、比較例に比べて1.5倍以上のトルクが必要であった。このことから、本発明電池は、比較例(従来の電池)よりも電極外部端子1が回転しにくく、電極外部端子の回転による液漏れの危険性が極めて低いことがわかる。

Claims (2)
- 少なくとも鍔部(1b)と柱状挿入部(1a)とを有する電極外部端子(1)と、
前記柱状挿入部(1a)が挿入される貫通孔(2a)の設けられた絶縁ガスケット(2)と、前記柱状挿入部(1a)が挿入される貫通孔(3a)の設けられた封口板(3)と、を有し、
前記電極外部端子の柱状挿入部(1a)が前記2つの貫通孔(2a・3a)に連通され、絶縁ガスケット(2)を介して前記電極外部端子(1)が前記封口板(3)に固定された密閉型電池であって、
前記柱状挿入部(1a)の電池高さ方向に直交する断面の形状が、楕円形状、トラック形状、または角丸長方形状であり、
前記絶縁ガスケット(2)には、前記電極外部端子(1)の鍔部(1b)を受け入れる凹部が形成されており、
前記柱状挿入部(1a)の電池高さ方向に直交する断面の形状が、当該断面形状の短軸の長さをA、長軸の長さをBとしたとき、0.5≦[A/B]≦0.9であり、
かつ、前記長軸の長さBと短軸の長さAとの差[B−A]が、前記絶縁ガスケット(2)の縁部(2b)の厚みの2倍以下である、
ことを特徴とする密閉型電池。 - 請求項1に記載の密閉型電池において、前記柱状挿入部(1a)が、中空筒状であり、前記A/Bが、0.7<[A/B]<0.9である、
ことを特徴とする密閉型電池。
