Claims (1)
- 電解質の両側に一対の電極が配設される少なくとも第1及び第2電解質・電極構造体を有し、第1金属セパレータ、前記第1電解質・電極構造体、第2金属セパレータ、前記第2電解質・電極構造体及び第3金属セパレータの順に積層される発電ユニットを備え、前記第1金属セパレータと前記第1電解質・電極構造体との間、前記第1電解質・電極構造体と前記第2金属セパレータとの間、前記第2金属セパレータと前記第2電解質・電極構造体との間、及び前記第2電解質・電極構造体と前記第3金属セパレータとの間には、発電面に沿って所定の反応ガスを流す第1〜第4反応ガス流路が形成されるとともに、各発電ユニット間には、冷却媒体を流す冷却媒体流路が形成される燃料電池であって、
前記第1及び第2電解質・電極構造体は、電極触媒の塗布範囲が同一範囲に設定され、
前記第1〜第4反応ガス流路は、一方向にのみ波形状に延在する複数本の流路溝を備え、
前記発電ユニットは、同一の反応ガスを流す第1及び第3反応ガス流路の流路溝本数が、互いに1本だけ異なる本数に設定される一方、
同一の反応ガスを流す第2及び第4反応ガス流路の流路溝本数が、互いに1本だけ異なる本数に設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
