Description
Claims (4)
- 記録可能マルチレイヤ記録キャリアに情報を記録する方法であって、
前記記録キャリアは、情報を格納するための第1情報レイヤと第2情報レイヤとを有し、
前記第1及び第2情報レイヤは、18%以上の反射レベルを有し、前記情報を記録するためのデータゾーンと、前記データゾーンに隣接したミドルゾーンとを有し、
前記第1情報レイヤのデータゾーンにおける情報を有するエリアと前記第2情報レイヤのデータゾーンにおける情報を有するエリアとが実質的に等しいサイズとなり、両方のエリアが重なり合うように、また、前記データゾーンのサイズの5%未満のサイズを有するようにファイナライズエリアが最小化されるように、前記情報レイヤのミドルゾーンが前記情報を記録するため前記記録キャリアの内径方向にシフトされ、
当該方法はさらに、前記ファイナライズエリアにダミーデータを書き込むことによって、前記記録キャリアをファイナライズするステップを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記記録対象となる情報は、前記マルチレイヤ記録キャリアのすべてのレイヤ上に均等に分散されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1又は2記載の方法であって、
前記情報の記録前に前記情報を格納するのに必要なスペースを推定するステップをさらに有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1乃至3何れか一項記載の方法を実行するよう動作可能であり、記録可能マルチレイヤ記録キャリア上に情報を記録することを特徴とする記録装置。
