Claims (9)
- 亜鉛化合物と鉛化合物とカドミウム化合物とからなる第1グループの中の1つまたは複数の化合物と、鉄化合物とシリコン化合物とカルシウム化合物とマグネシウム化合物とアルミニウム化合物とからなる第2グループの中の1つまたは複数の化合物と、を含有している煙塵を処理するための方法であって、
前記煙塵と炭素系材料とを混合し、
前記煙塵と前記炭素系材料との混合物を、加熱容器内に導入し、
主加熱源によって前記加熱容器を加熱するとともに、前記加熱容器内において前記炭素系材料を燃焼させることによって前記煙塵をさらに加熱し、
前記主加熱源による加熱と前記炭素系材料の前記燃焼による前記加熱とにより、前記第1グループをなす化合物の大部分をガス搬送可能なものとしつつも、前記第2グループをなす化合物の大部分をガス搬送不可能な状態に維持し、
前記主加熱源によって供給されるエネルギー量を、前記煙塵に対して供給される全エネルギーの25〜90%という範囲内とするとともに、前記炭素系材料の燃焼によって供給されるエネルギー量を、前記煙塵に対して供給される全エネルギーの10〜75%という範囲内とし、
前記ガス搬送可能な化合物と、前記ガス搬送不可能な化合物と、を分離する、
という方法において、
前記煙塵と前記炭素系材料とからなる前記混合物の質量単位に対しての、加熱容器からの排気の質量単位の比を、0.5〜2.5という範囲内とすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記主加熱源を、前記加熱容器の外部のものとすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1または2記載の方法において、
前記主加熱源によって供給されるエネルギー量を、前記煙塵に対して供給される全エネルギーの50〜75%という範囲内とし、
前記炭素系材料の燃焼によって供給されるエネルギー量を、前記煙塵に対して供給される全エネルギーの25〜50%という範囲内とすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、
前記加熱容器を、円筒形レトルトとすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、
分離されたガス搬送可能化合物の中から、亜鉛化合物を取り出すことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、
前記煙塵と前記炭素系材料とからなる前記混合物の質量単位に対しての、加熱容器からの排気の質量単位の比を、1.0〜2.0という範囲内とすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、
前記煙塵と前記炭素系材料とからなる前記混合物中における前記炭素系材料の量を、前記煙塵と前記炭素系材料とからなる前記混合物中の全体重量に対して、10〜30%という範囲内とすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、
前記加熱容器から取り出された前記ガス搬送可能な化合物の鉄含有量を、重量で1%未満とすることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、
分離されたガス搬送可能化合物の中から、亜鉛化合物を取り出すことを特徴とする方法。
