Description
前記製造装置は、周面が凹凸形状となっている第1のロールと、該第1のロールの凹凸形状と噛み合い形状となっている凹凸形状を周面に有する第2のロールとを備えており、
各ロールの凹部及び凸部は、ロールの回転方向に交互に配置されていると共にロールの軸方向にも交互に配置されており、
第1のロールの凹部を該ロールの軸方向に沿ってみたときに、該凹部の底部における該軸方向の両端部に位置する一対の端部域に、第1のシート状物を該ロールの周面に吸引付着させるための空隙部が形成されている立体複合シートの製造装置を提供するものである。
第1のロールの凹部の底部に設けられた空隙部を通じてロール周面からロール内部に向けて吸引を行いつつ、第1のロールと第2のロールとの噛み合わせ部に第1のシート状物を噛み込ませて該シート状物を凹凸賦形し、
前記空隙部を通じての吸引によって第1のロールの周面に第1のシート状物を凹凸賦形された状態のまま保持しつつ第2のシート状物を重ね合わせ、第2のシート状物を、第1のロールにおける凸部上に位置する第1のシートと接合する立体複合シートの製造方法を提供するものである。

Claims (8)
- 第1及び第2の2枚のシート状物が部分的に接合されて多数の接合部が形成されており、第1のシート状物が該接合部以外の部分において突出して多数の凸部を形成している立体複合シートの製造装置であって、
前記製造装置は、周面が凹凸形状となっている第1のロールと、該第1のロールの凹凸形状と噛み合い形状となっている凹凸形状を周面に有する第2のロールとを備えており、
各ロールの凹部及び凸部は、ロールの回転方向に交互に配置されていると共にロールの軸方向にも交互に配置されており、
第1のロールの凹部を該ロールの軸方向に沿ってみたときに、該凹部の底部における該軸方向の両端部に位置する一対の端部域に、第1のシート状物を該ロールの周面に吸引付着させるための空隙部が形成されており、
第2のロールの凸部はその幅が、該凸部の先端部が、第1のロールの凹部における一対の前記端部域に形成された前記空隙部それぞれの少なくとも一部に臨むような幅となっている立体複合シートの製造装置。 - 第1のロールと第2のロールとが噛み合った状態において、第2のロールの凸部が、第1のロールの凹部の中央域に位置するように両ロールの噛み合い状態が調整されている請求項1記載の立体複合シートの製造装置。
- 第2のロールの凸部の幅が、第1のロールの凹部の幅よりも0.1〜3.0mm狭くなっている請求項1又は2記載の立体複合シートの製造装置。
- 第1のロールと第2のロールとが噛み合った状態において、第2のロールの凸部の頂部と、第1のロールの凹部の底面とが接触しないように両ロールの噛み合い状態が調整されている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の立体複合シートの製造装置。
- 第2のロールの凸部はその幅が、その頂部に向かうに連れて漸減している請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の立体複合シートの製造装置。
- 第1のロールは、歯車と、該歯車よりも歯先円直径の小さい最外径を有するスペーサーとが交互に回転軸に取り付けられたものからなり、
ロールの軸方向に隣り合う歯車は半ピッチずれて配置され、該歯車の歯によって第1のロールの凸部が形成されているとともに、4つの該凸部によって取り囲まれる部位に凹部が形成されており、
前記凹部の底面における前記端部域に、スペーサーの幅に相当する幅を有する前記空隙部が設けられている請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の立体複合シートの製造装置。 - 前記スペーサーは、略円環状の中心部と、該中心部の周縁から放射状に延びる多数の突起であるビーム歯とから構成されており、
前記歯車の歯数が、前記スペーサーのビーム歯の数の整数倍となっている請求項6記載の立体複合シートの製造装置。 - 請求項1記載の立体複合シートの製造装置を用いた立体複合シートの製造方法であって、
第1のロールの凹部の底部に設けられた空隙部を通じてロール周面からロール内部に向けて吸引を行いつつ、第1のロールと第2のロールとの噛み合わせ部に第1のシート状物を噛み込ませて該シート状物を凹凸賦形し、
前記空隙部を通じての吸引によって第1のロールの周面に第1のシート状物を凹凸賦形された状態のまま保持しつつ第2のシート状物を重ね合わせ、第2のシート状物を、第1のロールにおける凸部上に位置する第1のシートと接合する立体複合シートの製造方法。
