Claims (19)
- 体内の空洞を囲む組織を治療するための小線源治療装置であって、
近位端および遠位端を含み組織に導入されるように構成された細長体と、
近位端と、前記細長体の前記遠位端に結合した遠位端とを含み、且つ放射線源を沿わせて受けるための経路を含む複数の細長部材であって、
前記細長部材が、組織管を通って標的箇所への導入を行うための折畳み形状と、拡張形状とから移動可能で、
前記細長部材が、管状体と、前記管状体の各々から横方向に延びる1つ以上の翼とを含む、前記細長部材と、
前記細長部材の前記近位端に結合された近位ハブであって、前記細長体に相対して移動可能で、前記細長部材を前記折畳み形状から前記拡張形状に移動可能である前記近位ハブと、を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 体内の空洞を囲む組織を治療するための小線源治療装置であって、
近位端および遠位端を含み組織に導入するように構成された細長体と、
近位端と、前記細長体の前記遠位端に結合した遠位端とを含み、且つ放射線源を沿わせて受けるための経路を含む前記遠位端上の複数の細長部材であって、
前記細長部材が、組織管を通って標的箇所への導入を行うための折畳み形状と、拡張形状とから移動可能で、
前記細長部材の少なくともいくつかは、1つ以上の翼を含む管状体と、前記経路を規定する内腔とを含む、前記細長部材と、
前記細長部材の前記近位端に結合された近位ハブであって、前記細長体に相対して移動可能で、前記細長部材を前記折畳み形状から前記拡張形状に移動可能である前記近位ハブと、を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記管状体は、1つ以上の翼と、放射線源を受けることのできる大きさにされた前記経路を規定する内腔と、を含む管状押出材から形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記1つ以上の翼が、各管状体から横方向に延びる1つ以上の対向する翼を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 放射線を前記標的箇所に照射するため前記経路に沿って導入可能な放射線源をさらに含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長部材が、前記拡張形状において分離しており、近接する細長部材の翼の間に前記標的箇所の組織が陥入できるようにした請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長体が、前記近位端から前記遠位端に延び前記細長部材の遠位端に結合されたコア部材を含み、
前記近位ハブが、前記細長部材の近位端に結合された外側部材を含み、
前記外側部材が、前記コア部材の周囲に摺動可能に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記外側部材が、前記細長部材の経路と連通する通路を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記近位ハブが複数の開口を含み、前記経路に沿って前記放射線源を導入するためにそれぞれの経路に前記開口が連通することを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長部材の遠位端に結合された遠位ハブをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長部材が、前記拡張形状において三次元配列を含み、1つ以上の放射線源が前記細長部材に導入されたときに前記三次元配列が放射線源の複数の層を形成することを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長部材が1組の内側細長部材を含み、前記装置が、1組の外側細長部材をさらに含み、前記1組の外側細長部材が前記拡張形状における最大径を概ね規定し、前記最大径が前記1組の内側細長部材の最大径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記1組の外側細長部材は、1つ以上の前記翼と各々の経路を規定する内腔とを含む管状体を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記1組の内側細長部材は、1つ以上の前記翼と各々の経路を規定する内腔とを含む管状体を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記1組の外側細長部材および前記1組の内側細長部材は、1つ以上の前記翼と各々の経路を規定する内腔とを含む管状体を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の装置。
- 前記1組の外側細長部材が前記中心軸の周りで前記1組の内側細長部材から角度方向にオフセットしていることを特徴とする請求項12乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、内部に放射線源を受ける中央内腔をさらに含み、前記中央内腔が前記細長部材の経路を越えて遠位に延び、これにより、前記細長部材を越えた遠位に放射線源を送置し、前記細長体の遠位端近傍に放射線を照射できるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至16のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長部材が前記折畳み形状のときに、近接する前記翼が部分的に入れ子になっていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至17のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細長部材が前記折畳み形状のときに、近接する前記翼が互いに隣り合って配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至18のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
