Description
A1:アイオノマー樹脂組成物のC=O伸縮吸収ピーク高さ
A2:塩酸処理したアイオノマー樹脂組成物のC=O伸縮吸収ピーク高さ
(アイオノマー樹脂組成物ペレットの作製)
表1に示す配合処方でエチレン系アイオノマー樹脂、有機化クレー、酸化防止剤を溶融混合した。二軸混合機(30mmΦ、L/D=30)を使用し、バレル温度160℃、スクリュー回転数100rpmで溶融混合した後、ストランドカットペレダイザでペレットを作製した。
上記のアイオノマー樹脂組成物を、単軸溶融押出機(45mmΦ、L/D=24)を用いて、内径10mmΦ、肉厚0.1mmのチューブ状に押出成形した。
得られたチューブ状成形品を120℃の恒温槽内で加熱し、圧縮空気をチューブ内部に導入して内径20mmΦに膨張し、圧縮空気を導入した状態で恒温槽より取り出し、冷却して熱収縮チューブを得た。また上記の内径10mmΦ、肉厚0.1mmのチューブに加速電圧300kVの加速電子線を照射してアイオノマー樹脂組成物を架橋した後、140℃の恒温槽内で加熱し、圧縮空気をチューブ内部に導入して内径200mmΦに膨張し、圧縮空気を導入した状態で恒温槽より取り出し、冷却して架橋タイプの熱収縮チューブを得た。
得られた熱収縮チューブを50℃のギヤオーブン中に3分間放置してチューブ内径を測定する。その後10℃ずつ温度を上昇させて3分間放置し、内径(A)を測定する。
収縮率(%)=100×(1−(A−B)/(C−B))
A:加熱後の内径(mm)
B:押出チューブの内径(mm)
C:膨張後の押出チューブの内径(mm)
で定義される収縮率が80%になる温度を収縮温度とし、収縮温度が110℃以下のものを良好と判定した。
熱収縮チューブを10cm長さに切断し、引張速度=100mm/分、標線間距離=20mmで引張試験を行い、応力−伸び曲線から弾性率を求めた。
熱収縮チューブを70mm長さに切断し、チューブが水平になるように片端を支持した状態にしたときに、チューブが口開きした状態で自立できるものを良好と判定した。
得られた熱収縮チューブを10cm長さに切断し、150℃で10分間加熱して加熱前後の長さを測定し、以下の式により長手方向収縮率を求めた。長手方向収縮率5%以下のものを良好と判定した。
熱収縮チューブをプロピレンカーボネートに室温で一日浸漬した後、重量増加率を測定し、重量増加率10%未満のものを良好と判定した。また同様の操作をジエチルカーボネートについても行った。
熱収縮チューブを300℃で5分間加熱し、チューブ形状を維持しているものを良好とした。
熱収縮チューブを13mmΦの金属棒に収縮被覆し、金属棒に印刷された2mm×2mmの文字が判別できるものを良好と判定した。以上の結果を表1に示す。
表2に示す配合処方を持つ樹脂組成物を用いたこと以外は実施例1〜6と同様にして熱収縮チューブを作製し、一連の評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。

(アイオノマー樹脂組成物ペレットの作製)
表3、4に示す配合処方でエチレン系アイオノマー樹脂、エチレン共重合体、金属塩、有機化クレー、酸化防止剤を溶融混合した。二軸混合機(26mmΦ、L/D=30)を使用し、バレル温度200℃、スクリュー回転数100rpmで溶融混合した後、ストランドカットペレダイザでペレットを作製した。
得られたアイオノマー樹脂組成物の赤外吸収スペクトルをATR法で測定した。測定誤差を少なくするため、1700cm−1(C=O伸縮)のピーク高さを2915cm−1(CH2伸縮)のピーク高さで割り、規格化した数値をA1とした。またアイオノマー樹脂組成物を塩酸処理した試料についても同様に赤外吸収スペクトルを測定し、てA2を求め、以下の式によりアイオノマー樹脂組成物の中和度を算出した。
中和度(%)=(1−A1/A2)×100
作製したアイオノマー樹脂組成物を、単軸溶融押出機(45mmΦ、L/D=24)を用いて、内径10mmΦ、肉厚0.1mmのチューブ状に押出成形した。押出速度を徐々に上げていき、安定成形が可能となった時の巻き取り速度を測定した。
実施例1〜6と同様に熱収縮チューブを作製し、一連の評価を行った。なお伸びの評価は弾性率測定と同様に引張試験で行い、引張破断伸びを3点の試料で測定し、それらの平均値を求めた。結果を表3、4に示す。

Claims (9)
- エチレン系アイオノマー樹脂と有機化クレーを含有したアイオノマー樹脂組成物であって、前記有機化クレーの含有量が、アイオノマー樹脂組成物全体の2重量%以上60重量%以下であることを特徴とするアイオノマー樹脂組成物。
- 前記有機化クレーのインターカレーション用の有機化合物が、塩化ジメチルジステアリルアンモニウム、塩化ベンジルジメチルステアリルアンモニウムのいずれか一方又は両方であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアイオノマー樹脂組成物。
- 前記エチレン系アイオノマー樹脂は分子内にカルボキシル基を有するエチレン共重合体からなり、アイオノマー樹脂組成物中のカルボキシル基の一部又は全部が金属イオンによって中和されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のアイオノマー樹脂組成物。
- アイオノマー樹脂組成物中のカルボキシル基の55%以上が金属イオンによって中和されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のアイオノマー樹脂組成物。
- 前記金属イオンは、亜鉛イオン、ナトリウムイオン、マグネシウムイオン及びカルシウムイオンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のアイオノマー樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のアイオノマー樹脂組成物を押出成形したことを特徴とする押出成形品。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかにに記載のアイオノマー樹脂組成物をチューブ状に押出成形したことを特徴とするチューブ状成形品。
- 請求項7に記載のチューブ状成形品を加熱条件下で径方向に膨張し、その形状を冷却固定したことを特徴とする熱収縮チューブ。
- 請求項7に記載のチューブ状成形品に電離放射線を照射して該アイオノマー樹脂組成物を架橋した後、加熱条件下で径方向に膨張し、その形状を冷却固定したことを特徴とする熱収縮チューブ。
