- 板状の被加熱材が通過する耐火材で角筒状に形成された被加熱材通過部の外側に、絶縁板で箱状に形成して密閉されたコイルボックスを設け、該コイルボックスの内側に加熱コイルを封入して外気と遮断し、該加熱コイルを収納したコイルボックスの外側に鉄心を設けた誘導加熱装置において、
少なくとも前記鉄心の前記コイルボックスとの隣接面に絶縁樹脂を2コート・2ベークした絶縁層を形成し、前記被加熱材の加熱および冷却に伴う水蒸気およびスケールが該コイルボックス内に流れ込み該コイルボックスを内側から浸食した場合にも該絶縁層により該鉄心と前記加熱コイルとの絶縁が確保されること特徴とする誘導加熱装置。
