Claims (3)
- 複数のセル通路隔壁を有するコージェライトからなるハニカム構造体であって、
セルの断面形状が六角形状であり、前記断面において六角セルの対向した一対の頂点を結び、かつ、六角セルがその軸について対称な形状となる軸をC軸、前記断面におけるC軸に垂直方向の軸をB軸とし、C軸と交差する六角セルの一辺とB軸とのなす角度を隔壁角度(θ)とすると、当該セルの隔壁角度(θ)の範囲が30<θ<45°であり、アイソスタティック破壊強度が4MPa以上であり、ハニカム構造体のC軸圧縮破壊強度とB軸圧縮破壊強度の比(C/B)が0.9以上であることを特徴とする六角セルハニカム構造体。 - 当該隔壁角度θの範囲が35<θ<40°であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の六角セルハニカム構造体。
- 自動車排ガス浄化用触媒担体として用いられることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の六角セルハニカム構造体。
