Description
本発明の好ましい構成の多くは、以下に記載される。同等な組成物も考えられる。
この実施例は、No.2油へ2種金属からなる白金及びセリウム燃料生成触媒(FBC)を16ppm及び8ppmで添加し、そして1.2mmBtu/時のテスト燃焼器で燃やしてテストする。図1a及び1bに示されるように、燃料中8ppm及び16ppmの合計触媒で使用された2種金属からなるFBCの両者は、微粒子の質量の排出を50−70%減少させた(図1a)。煙の色の濃さも15−45%薄くなった(図1b)。
この実施例は、No.6重質油に使用された3種金属からなる鉄、セリウム及び白金の触媒(同じテスト燃焼器で燃やされた)の結果を示す。結果は図2a及び図2bに要約されている。
この実施例は、通常の硫黄燃料及び参考のULSDに対して合計4ppmで市販の超低硫黄ディーゼルに使用されそして1998DDCシリーズ60エンジンでテストされた白金及びセリウムの2種金属からなるFBCに関する結果を示す。結果は以下の表に要約される。
Claims (2)
- 不完全燃焼により発生する、炭化水素、NO X 及び微粒子の排出を低下させるように蒸留燃料油の燃焼を改良する方法において、軽油に、0.0005−0.5ppmの濃度の白金及び0.5−8ppmの合計濃度のセリウム及び/または鉄を含み且つセリウム及び/または鉄対白金の比が50000:1−500:1である多成分系触媒組成物を添加することを特徴とする蒸留燃料油の燃焼を改良する方法。
- 不完全燃焼により発生する、炭化水素、NO X 及び微粒子の排出を低下させるように残留燃料油の燃焼を改良する方法において、残留燃料油に、0.0005−0.5ppmの濃度の白金及び0.05−20ppmの合計濃度のセリウム及び鉄を含み且つセリウム及び鉄対白金の比が50000:1−500:1である多成分系触媒組成物を添加することを特徴とする残留燃料油の燃焼を改良する方法。
