Claims (3)
- 一定間隔で対向する2枚の基板と、
それぞれの前記基板の対向する面に形成された抵抗膜と、
いずれか一方の前記抵抗膜の4辺に沿って形成された電極と、
を含むタッチパネルであって、
それぞれの前記電極が、直線状に並べられた複数の分割電極と分割電極間の抵抗との直列結合で構成され、
各分割電極が矩形状の抵抗膜の最も内側に設けられた内側電極と該内側電極よりも外側に設けられた外側電極からなり、
前記内側電極が抵抗膜の各辺に平行であり、かつ直線状に並べられており、
各分割電極の内側電極の長さは、両端の分割電極の内側電極を除いて全て略同じであり、且つ両端の分割電極の内側電極の長さと他の分割電極の内側電極の長さの比が0.1:1〜0.5:1であるタッチパネル。 - 隣り合う前記分割電極同士がギャップを隔てて対向し、前記分割電極間の抵抗の抵抗値が、ギャップの形状と抵抗膜のシート抵抗とによって決定され、
前記分割電極同士が対向する全ての箇所のギャップ幅および対向長を全て略同じにすることによって、全ての抵抗の抵抗値を略同一とした請求項1のタッチパネル。 - 前記ギャップにおいて、内側電極同士の対向部分と外側電極との間の抵抗膜の一部を削除して絶縁領域を形成し、内側電極から抵抗膜に印加した電圧によって形成される等電位線が均一に並ぶように調整した請求項2のタッチパネル。
