Description
少なくとも一部が互いに相対するように配置された第1ベアセルおよび第2ベアセルと、電気回路素子が実装された回路基板と前記二つのベアセルの間に挿入され、前記回路基板を前記二つのベアセルと電気的に接続させる少なくとも一つの接続タブを備える保護回路モジュールと、を含むことを特徴とする保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池が提供される。

Claims (22)
- それぞれ電極端子の役割を遂行する缶を備え、前記缶の少なくとも一部の側壁が互いに相対するように配置された第1ベアセルと第2ベアセルと、
電気回路素子が実装された回路基板と前記二つのベアセルの間に挿入され、前記二つのベアセルの間に挿入されるように延びた挿入脚を備え、前記回路基板を前記二つのベアセルの互いに相対するように配置された側壁と電気的に接続させる少なくとも一つの接続タブを備える保護回路モジュールと、を含み、前記接続タブの挿入脚は、前記二つのベアセルの互いに相対するように配置された側壁とそれぞれ接触するように形成される屈曲部を備えることを特徴とする保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。 - 前記屈曲部は山形状に折り曲げられて形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブは、前記回路基板と前記二つのベアセル間の距離を維持させる支持脚を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブは、弾性変形されて前記二つのベアセルの間に挿入されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブはニッケル材質であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブは、金メッキまたは銅メッキされて形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブは、クラッド(clad)素材からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブは、弾性材質と電気伝導性材質が結合されたクラッド素材であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブの弾性材質はニッケルであり、前記接続タブの電気伝導性材質は銅であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接続タブは二つが設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記二つのベアセルの間に位置し、前記二つのベアセルを結合する接着部材をさらに含み、前記接着部材は、前記接続タブが挿入される空間を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記接着部材はフォームテープであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記第1ベアセルと前記第2ベアセルを電気的に接続させる補助タブをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記補助タブは、前記二つのベアセルと溶接によって接合されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記二つのベアセルは、それぞれ缶を備え、
前記二つのベアセルの各缶は、底板と、前記底板から上方へ延びた側壁とを備え、前記第1ベアセルの側壁の一部と前記第2ベアセルの側壁の一部が相対するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。 - 前記二つのベアセルの各缶の側壁は、互いに相対する長側壁を備え、
前記各缶の長側壁の間に前記接続タブが挿入されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。 - 前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板を覆う上部ケースをさらに含み、
前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板は、前記上部ケースに嵌合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。 - 前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板と前記上部ケース中の一つには挿入突起が形成され、他の一つには前記挿入突起が挿入して嵌合する挿入溝が形成されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記第1ベアセルと第2ベアセルを共に覆うラベルをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記第1ベアセルと第2ベアセルは、電気的に並列接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
- 前記保護回路モジュールを内部に収容する上部ケースと、前記上部ケースの反対側に位置する下部ケースとをさらに含み、
前記上部ケースは、前記下部ケース側に延びた二本の補強脚をさらに備え、
前記下部ケースは、前記上部ケース側に延び、前記上部ケースの二本の補強脚と連結される二本の補強柱をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。 - 前記上部ケースの二本の補強脚および前記下部ケースの二本の補強柱は、それぞれ前記二つのベアセルの間に挿入されるように形成された突出部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の保護回路モジュールを備える二次電池。
