で示されるものが挙げられる。ここで、Rとしてはメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基等のアルキル基、ビニル基、アリル基、ブテニル基等のアルケニル基、フェニル基、トリル基等のアリール基、ベンジル基等のアラルキル基や、これらの炭素原子に結合した水素原子の一部又は全部がハロゲン原子で置換されたクロロメチル基、クロロプロピル基、3,3,3−トリフルオロプロピル基等のハロゲン置換炭化水素基、或いはシアノ基で置換された2−シアノエチル基等のシアノ基置換炭化水素基などが挙げられ、Rは同一であっても異なっていてもよいが、Rとしてフェニル基を含むもの、特に、全Rのうち5〜80モル%がフェニル基であるものが、カラーキャップ2又はカラーフィルター3の耐熱性及び透明性の点から好ましい。
先ずカラーキャップを調製した。シリコーンゴムKE951U(信越化学工業株式会社製;商品名)に、過酸化物架橋剤を0.5部添加した材料に、フタロシアニングリーン顔料を添加し、熱プレスと金型を用いて、180℃で10分間の成型条件で、発色ダイオードの形状に合わせたグリーン色のシリコーンゴム製カラーキャップを得た。同様にブルーのキャップの場合は、フタロシアニングリーン顔料の代わりに、フタロシアニンブルー顔料を適宜添加して作製した。その濃度は、必要とする色調に合わせ、0.000001w%から5w%で行い、ブルー、ブルーグリーン、グリーンの適切な色調に調節した様々な色調のカラーキャップを得た。
青色発光ダイオードの青色光を励起光源とし、1種類以上の蛍光剤により変換された黄色光を用い、青色光と黄色光をブレンドして、色あわせを行ったものである。必要に応じ顔料を加えると、余計な光がカットされ、調色可能エリアを広げることができる。添加する蛍光剤量は、それの比重が重いため1〜50重量%添加する。それにより、5種類の色調の発光デバイスを得た。それを用いて照明装置とした。それらについて、実施例と同様にして色度を測定した。その結果を纏めて表2及び図6に示す。
Claims (7)
- 発光ダイオードから発光する青色光を波長変換し混色して又は直接発光して出射される白色光の進行方向で覆うシリコーンゴム製のカラーキャップ又はカラーフィルターが、前記白色光を別な波長の光に変換して出射させる蛍光剤、顔料、染料、及び/又はりん光剤を含んでおり、前記白色光が前記カラーキャップ又はカラーフィルターにより色調調整されており、前記シリコーンゴムが、JIS K 6253のゴム硬度計のデュロメーターAの硬さ試験方法により測定される硬度を50°〜80°とする、電飾装置用、看板用、広告塔用、又はエンブレム用の発光デバイス。
- 前記カラーキャップ又はカラーフィルターに、前記光を透過させるレンズが付されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記カラーキャップ又はカラーフィルターが、被膜を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜2の何れかに記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記被膜が、ポリパラキシリレン類と、前記カラーキャップ又はカラーフィルターのシリコーンゴムとの屈折率の異なるシリコーン樹脂とから選ばれる何れかで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の発光デバイス。
- 請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の発光デバイスが複数並べられていることを特徴とする照明装置。
- 基板上に前記発光デバイスが複数並べられている電飾装置、看板、広告塔、又はエンブレムであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の照明装置。
- 前記発光デバイスによりコーポレートカラーの前記別な波長の光を出射していることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の照明装置。
