Description
本発明は、患者の体内の生理状態をモニタするためのバイオセンシングシステムおよび方法に関する。特に、本発明は、患者の体内に埋め込み可能であり且つ少なくとも1つのセンサと可変音響トランスデューサと小型プロセッサとを有するバイオセンサシステムに関する。センサは、患者の生理状態をモニタするとともに、小型プロセッサを介して生理状態に関する情報を可変音響トランスデューサに中継するために使用される。可変音響トランスデューサは、この情報を音響信号として体外に送信する。トランスデューサからの音響信号の送信は、体外で形成される音響呼びかけエネルギー信号によって引き起こされる。この音響呼びかけエネルギー信号は、体外で患者と密着して位置決めされた第2の音響トランスデューサによって形成される。小型の電気プロセッサは、センサ信号の調整やデジタル化や増幅といった必要な様々な機能のために使用される。本発明のバイオセンサは、シャントと、シャントの壁内に埋め込まれたモニタ装置とを有している。モニタ装置は、音響トランスデューサを介したシャントの非侵襲な動作テストや識別を許容する。

- 前記患者の身体に対して位置決め可能な体外ステーションをさらに備え、該体外ステーションは、前記音響呼びかけ信号を生成する呼びかけ信号ジェネレータを含み、該呼びかけ信号ジェネレータは、少なくとも1つの第2の音響トランスデューサを含み、該少なくとも1つの第2の音響トランスデューサは、該音響呼びかけ信号を前記第1の音響トランスデューサに伝送することと、該第1の音響トランスデューサから前記反射音響波を受信することとを行うように構成されている、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可な医療デバイス。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、圧力センサ、温度センサ、pHセンサ、血糖値センサ、血液酸素量センサ、動作センサ、流量センサ、速度センサ、加速度センサ、力センサ、歪みセンサ、音響センサ、水分センサ、浸透圧センサ、光センサ、濁度センサ、放射線センサ、電磁場センサ、薬品センサ、イオンセンサ、および酵素センサから成るグループから選択される、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能な医療デバイス。
