Description
本出願は、米国仮特許出願第60/730,634号明細書の優先権を主張するものであり、その全体を本明細書に記載したものとして本明細書に援用する。
本発明は、電極カテーテルおよび組織切除に電極カテーテルを使用する方法に関する。特に、本発明の電極カテーテルは、カテーテルと動く表面(例えば、心臓壁)との接触を切除手順のために判定するための、圧電センサーなどの1つまたは複数の電気機械式センサーを備えることができる。
Claims (14)
- 組織表面と、組織表面上に影響を与えるカテーテルの遠位端部分との間の接触を示す情報を提供する組織接触検知システムであって、
柔軟なシャフト部分と遠位端部分とを有するカテーテルと、
柔軟なシャフト部分と遠位端部分との間に結合されている柔軟材と、
電気機械的センサー手段と、を備えており、
前記電気機械式センサー手段は、組織の表面と前記遠位端部分との接触によって前記電気機械式センサー手段に生じる機械負荷に応じてそれぞれ電気信号を発生するように柔軟材と結合されており、
前記電気機械式センサー手段は、少なくとも3つの離間された電気機械式センサーを備えており、
前記電気機械式センサーは、前記カテーテルの外表面に覆われており、
それぞれの前記電気機械式センサーは、カテーテルの長手方向軸に沿って横たわるように延びるとともに、延在方向において互いに横方向に隣接するように配置されており、
前記電気機械式センサーの長手方向軸は、実質的に前記カテーテルの長手方向軸に平行である、組織接触検知システム。 - それぞれの前記電気機械式センサーは、横方向に近接する電気機械式センサーと実質的に等間隔離れている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気機械式センサー手段は、グランド接続を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気機械式センサー手段は、隣接する電気機械式センサー手段から約30〜約180度だけ放射状にずらしてある、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部分に結合する電極をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電極は、組織をアブレーションする手段を備えている、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記組織をアブレーションする手段は、高周波エネルギーに適用された電極を含んでいる、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも3つの電気機械式センサーのそれぞれは、対となる電気機械式センサーを備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気機械式センサー手段に電気的に接続されている出力装置をさらに備えており、前記出力装置は、それぞれの電気信号を受信し、前記遠位端部分と組織表面との接触力の大きさおよび方向の表示を計算する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記出力装置は、無線遠隔測定リンクによって前記電気機械式センサーに接続されている、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記柔軟材は、−Si−O−Si−O−のようにシリコンと酸素が交互に配列された、樹脂が基体の材料またはポリマーのいずれか一方を含み、樹脂が基体の材料またはポリマーの特性は、シリコン原子が接している有機基によって決定される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記柔軟材は、前記電気機械式センサー手段に隣接して柔軟な体積を提供する手段をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも3つの電気機械式センサーは、圧電フィルム材を備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 遠位端部分に結合する電極をさらに備えており、前記電気機械式センサー手段は、支持体構造に結合しており、前記支持体構造は、電極に結合している、請求項1に記載のシステム。
